Biography

Alexey Chubar was born on May 14, 1964 in Moscow.

In 1987 graduated from faculty of physical and quantum electronics of Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology.

In 1990 Chubar completed full-time postgraduate study of MIPT, defended the master's thesis, worked as the research associate of Scientific Research Institute Polyus.

Since 1993 worked as the coordinator of test laboratory of the PC World magazine.

In 1994 worked in the Moscow representative office of Symantec Russia and CIS as the system engineer.

Since 1996 fulfilled duties of the head of representative office of Symantec Russia and CIS in Russia.

Since 1997 passed to work as the sales manager of department of work with application developers of representation Microsoft.

In 1998 received a position of the head of department of work with application developers Microsoft.

Since 2007 the member of the committee on banking and information technologies passed to work as the adviser of the board member of JSC Bank VTB.

In 2013 received a position of the deputy manager of Federal Agency for State Property Management.

In May, 2016 left the post then returned to a command of VTB as the head of department of digital transformation. The management is engaged in development and planning of digital initiatives, monitoring and the analysis of innovations and also digitalization of processes within VTB Group.
