Biography

2020: Position assignment of the executive director on processing and data analysis in the Pentagon

At the end of June, 2020 the U.S. Department of Defense appointed Dave Spirk the new executive director on processing and data analysis. Before he worked the Chief Digital Officer in command of special operations (SOCOM).

Dave Spirk played a key role in development of new solutions for a team of combatants of Hyper Enabled Operator who aim to provide to operators expanded data access using machine learning and artificial intelligence, says the Pentagon.

It is known that SOCOM adopted the new concept of development under the leadership of Spirk. In department of command of special operations Spirk helped to create new laboratory of data processing which pays special attention to the solutions using Big Data for algorithms of AI and machine learning. Development of AI and opportunities of machine learning is the main area of work of the Chief information officer of the Pentagon under control of which there is also a Joint center of artificial intelligence.

Spirk also held a position of the associate director on investments into technologies at the minister of the United States Air Force and entered into group of development of concepts and to management of the Air Force in the field of perspective analytics and investments into technologies. He also held a position of the specialist in investigation in marine corps in Afghanistan and also served in office of the director of the national intelligence as the head of transactions in Cuba and Venezuela mission manager.[1]
