2016: The vice president of Nokia in Eastern Europe

On October 12, 2016 it became known of Demetrio Russo's appointment to a position of the vice president of the company in Eastern Europe. He will head the directions of sales, operational management and business development in the region.

Officially Demetrio Russo became the vice president of Nokia in Eastern Europe on October 1, 2016. On a new post he will be responsible for business development, work with clients and strategy implementation of the company in the markets of the countries of the region.

According to the senior vice president of Nokia for the region Europe Markus Borkhert, appointment of Demetrio Russo having extensive working experience and deep understanding of the market will strengthen regional management team, will strengthen positions of the company and will contribute to the further development of customer relations.

Demetrio Russo works in Nokia since 2000. Before position assignment of the vice president of the region Eastern Europe he was responsible in the company for direction 5G.

In the market of Eastern Europe Nokia conducts activity in three countries. The company performance is directed to assistance to operators in satisfaction of requirements more than 150 million subscribers of the region, says Nokia.
