Biography

2019: Appointment of HP Inc as the head.

On August 22, 2019 HP Inc. announced Dion Weisler leaving in resignation from positions of the president and CEO of the company. He explained the dismissal with desire to be engaged in "health of family". In this respect the top manager did not begin to open the additional information.

Instead of Uaysler HP Inc. Enrique Lores, the head of printer division who works in the company more than 30 years will head. Delegation of power will officially take place on November 1, 2019, and till this time Uaysler will help Lores to adapt to new duties.

Dion Weisler will work with  Lores for  ensuring smooth transfer of affairs and  will remain in  the company  until the end of January, 2020. After that Weisler will continue to work in  Board of Directors of HP to  the following annual shareholder meeting  , says the company.

The Reuters agency reports that Lores took part in separation of Hewlett-Packard into two public companies and also in acquisition of printer business of Samsung for $1.05 billion.

At the conference devoted to the publication of financial statements of HP Inc., Dion Weisler called the decision on leaving the company "one of the most difficult" for it.

According to Enrique Lores, for preserving of growth at HP Inc. all opportunities, including new business directions, such as digital production. The main goal the new head called transformation of the company into the most customer-oriented.[1]
