Kaprin Andrey Dmitrievich - one of the leading domestic specialists in the field of oncology. Its main achievements consist in permanent development of new methods of treatment of cancer patients as by surgical methods, and using the combined treatment.

Biography

Was born on August 2, 1966.

In the 1983rd entered the Moscow medical dental institute. Graduated in "Medical case". The university ended in 1989.

The same it was disaccustomed in the Russian academy of public service at the President of Russia. Received specialty "Public Service and HR Policy".

At the beginning of the 2000th years he directed department of an onkourologiya in Academy of Sechenov.

In the 2006th it is appointed the head of department of urology at faculty of advanced training of RUDN.

For February 18, 2013 held a post of the acting as the director of MNIOI of P.A. Herzen. It is one of the oldest universities in Europe which is engaged in such perspective. It was founded by Pyotr Aleksandrovich Herzen - the follower of the Italian medical school who was a founder of the largest surgical school in the USSR and one of the first oncologists in the country.

2014: Formation of a medical cluster

Based on Institute of oncology of Herzen Andrey Karpin based the country's first medical cluster. Process began in 2014 after the order of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation on consolidation of research institutes in 4 clusters was published. It included the Obninsk Radiological scientific center, the Moscow scientific research institute of urology, Research institute of Herzen. Everything together they formed the Federal research center.

It was expected that over time should be included in it Research institute of virology of Ivanovsky, Institute of epidemiology and microbiology of a name of Gamalei and also Research institute of psychiatry. All this Moscow organizations. From St. Petersburg a medical cluster it was going to join the Federal center of heart, blood and endocrinology of Almazov.

2018: Election as the president ADIOR of the CIS and EA

On April 22, 2018 the academician RAS the CEO Radiology NMITs Ministry of Health Russia, professor Andrey Kaprin is elected the president Associations of directors of the centers and institutes of oncology and X-ray radiology of the CIS countries and Eurasia (ADIOR of the CIS and EA). The decision is made by a majority vote at a meeting of members of association.

During the meeting by all participants it was mentioned that the association needs the new development strategy, bigger focus on the practical interests of oncologists from the CIS countries and Eurasia, consolidation the general of efforts of specialists for the problem solving and tasks facing oncological services of these countries.

Our general task — to ensure effective functioning on implementation of national plans for fight against oncological diseases which will allow to increase availability of the innovative technologies in cancer therapy, such as nuclear medicine and the personified therapy. We should adhere to the principle of openness and democratic character in work of association as having only combined our joint efforts, we will be able to bring work of oncological service to essentially following level — Andrey Kaprin said, addressing Board of Directors.
