Kornilyev Kirill Gennadyevich

Kirill Kornilyev took a position of the CEO of IBM in Russia and the CIS since 2002. In July, 2015 left the post and passed to a position of the vice president for sales, the head industrial solutions of IBM in Central and Eastern Europe where is responsible for promotion of business of IBM in 29 countries of the region.

Biography

Was born on September 24, 1961 in Moscow.

In 1984 graduated from Moscow Engineering Physics Institute, faculty of cybernetics. Upon termination of institute worked as the research associate in Moscow Engineering Physics Institute.

In 1990 received an academic degree of Candidate of Technical Sciences, having continued work at institute till 1992.

After that Kirill Gennadyevich worked as the technical director of the company of Kudits-Obraz, but after a while replaced work location, and in May, 1993 began work as the Coordinator of the Center of training in division East Europe/Asia the companies IBM. Soon Kirill Kornilyev is appointed the head of the Center of training. In this quality he was responsible for training of customers of partners and staff of IBM.

In December, 1996 Kirill Kornilyev was transferred to the European Center of Training of IBM in Brussels. Implementation of the project of distance learning for professional training of staff of IBM in Europe, the Middle East and Africa became its task.

In May, 1997 Kornilyev is appointed the chief executive of IBM in Eastern Europe and Asia. Within a year he exercised the general control of operations of IBM in Russia and the CIS, was responsible for strategic planning of activity of the company, forecasting of sales, the reporting.

In September, 1998 Kornilyev became a marketing director and to development of sales channels of IBM in Russia and the CIS, directed work with business partners. Also he was responsible for sales hardware and the software.

On May 1, 2002 Kornilyev was appointed the CEO of IBM East Europe/Asia (EE/A), the head of office in Russia and the CIS.

On July 1, 2015 left this post and passed to a position of the vice president for sales, the head industrial solutions of IBM in Central and Eastern Europe where is responsible for promotion of business of IBM in 29 countries of the region.

Andrey Filatov became Kornilyev's successor on a post of the CEO of IBM in Russia and the CIS.

Kirill Kornilyev is a member of executive committee of the Moscow international business association, enters into board of Association of the enterprises of computer and information technologies (APKIT).
