Was born in Luhansk (Ukraine) in 1971.

Education, career

In 1987 with a medal graduated from school, in 1992  — the Kiev Highest Engineering Radio engineering School of air defense. In 1996 gained the diploma of the Canadian Institute of advanced training of managers, and then the diploma of the London Open University in Management. In 2003 received MBA degree at the Norwegian school of management.

• In 1993 started a career in the Russian division of Hewlett-Packard at first as the finance manager, then as the director of service support of computer networks.

• In 1998 it was transferred to the Asia-Pacific division of Hewlett-Packard in Australia where received a position of the area director on logistics and service.

• Since the end of 2001 was responsible for global integration of division of Global Supply Operations within merge of Hewlett-Packard and Compaq.

• In 2003 Microsoft Ukraine" got to work as the CEO ". Lanovenko's powers in 2005 were expanded also to Belarus.

• In the fall of 2007 Lanovenko leaves Microsoft and accepts powers of the head of department of Apple.

• In November, 2009 left Apple and passed into Oracle CIS.

• November, 2015 Valery Lanovenko is the vice president of Oracle in the CIS countries

In June, 2016 Valery Lanovenko headed a cluster of the countries of Central Europe, having passed into it from a cluster of the CIS countries which directed before.
