Biography

Alexander Lyamin founded Qrator Labs (formerly Highload Lab) in 2009 and has led the company since then. Prior to that, he was engaged in scientific research on DDoS attacks at Moscow State University. This knowledge and experience formed the basis of the technologies on the basis of which a distributed Qrator traffic filtering network was created.

Alexander took part in the launch of a number of Russian Internet providers (Comstar, Teleport TP, Cityline), worked on the first in Russia multi-service ATM network of Moscow State University. Lomonosov. He was the project manager of Astrum Online: he was engaged in the architecture of the web application platform, advised groups of external developers. Among the research projects in which Alexander Lyamin participated: Mirnet, Net Surveyor, IPv6 polygon, research grants of RFBR IP QoS, ReiserFS.
