Before joining Cisco in 2008, Wendy Mars worked as the technical director of ThruPoint — in the partner company of Cisco.

2018: Appointment of Cisco as the head in EMEAR region

At the end of September, 2018 it became known of Wendy Mars's appointment the new head of representative office of Cisco in EMEAR region (Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Russia).

Mars held a post of the senior vice president of Cisco in EMEAR on which before there was Edwin Paalvast. The last promoted on a career ladder and occupied one of the leading positions at the global level. What, is not specified.

Before heading office in EMEAR, Wendy Mars directed in it partner business. Thus, its increase reflects strong support of Cisco of the partner canal of which 85% of world revenue of the American producer of network equipment are the share.
