Biography

Dmitry Odintsov was born on March 31, 1976 in Moscow. He studied at the Moscow State Technical University of Radio Engineering, Electronics and Automation (MIREA). He studied in the specialty "Project Management" at Bad Harzburger Management-Schule (Germany).

In 1995-2005, he was one of the first IT managers in the parent company AFK Sistema, and then Chief information officer of the international direction.

From 2005 to 2008, he worked as the IT director of a large food company.

Since 2008, Dmitry Odintsov has been working at TrueConf. Under his leadership, a sales department was created, a partner network for the promotion of VKS systems in Russia, Ukraine and Belarus. Area of ​ ​ competence: video conferencing, online media services, social services, management of corporate IT resources, enterprise IT infrastructure, aspects of copyright in relation to software creation.

In December 2015, it was announced that a new position was created in the structure of TrueConf - Development Director, it was taken by former Sales Director Dmitry Odintsov. Dmitry's key tasks in his new position were: identifying promising market niches, expanding the global partner network, as well as promoting TrueConf solutions in the Middle East, Latin America and the Asia-Pacific region.

According to Mikhail Gotalsky, head of TrueConf, the creation of a separate position was facilitated by an increase in demand for TrueConf solutions and an increase in the share of exports in the company's revenue structure. According to forecasts, already in 2016, under the leadership of Dmitry, the volume of sales of TrueConf products abroad will exceed sales in Russia.

It was reported that by the end of 2015, thanks to the work of Odintsov, more than 1.5 thousand companies became clients of TrueConf, including commercial companies: TNT, Gazprom, Makfa, VTB Insurance, Rosvodokanal; state organizations: Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov, MAI, Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, Russian Post; notable international companies: BMW, Kärcher, Nestle, Castorama and Rima Group.

Having taken the post of development director, Dmitry transferred part of his powers to the heads of sales departments in the West and the CIS. This approach to doing business will allow him to monitor the change in demand for the company's products in the unified communications market and focus his attention on the global development of TrueConf.
