Was born on August 16, 1965 in Leningrad (since 1991 - St. Petersburg).

1992: SPbSU

In 1992 graduated from St. Petersburg State University in Jurisprudence.

1999: FINEK

In 1999 graduated from the St. Petersburg university economies and finance (since 2012- St. Petersburg state economic university (SPBGEU)) in Financial management.

2013: RANEPA

In 2013 graduated from the Russian Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration in "The public and municipal administration".

Additional professional education

Has the competence certificate of FFMS on management of investment funds, mutual investment funds and non-state pension funds (5.0).

Career

Conscription service

After leaving school underwent conscription service in the Separate motorized rifle division of special function of F.E. Dzerzhinsk Ministry of Internal Affairs of the USSR.

1992: Work in CB of St. Petersburg

From 1992 to 1999 worked in commercial banks of St. Petersburg where, in particular, directed legal department, as the deputy manager supervised work of legal service, Department of troubled assets, Managements of project financing, Management of business development and Credit management.

1999: Consultant of banks

From 1999 to 2006 as the non-staff adviser advised a number of the Russian banks and companies concerning development of their business and also on the separate projects connected with structuring business and work with troubled assets.

2003

RUSSIAN RAILWAY

Since 2003 is a part of the working group on preparation of industry reform on railway transport at Ministry of Railways of the Russian Federation.

Since 2005 is the adviser to the President of JSC "Russian Railways" on a voluntary basis.

Transcreditbank

Since 2003 also advised the management of Transcreditbank.

From 2006 to 2011 represented the interests of bank in Boards of Directors of societies which the bank credited or in which^[1] invested^[2]. Worked as a part of Board of Directors of JSC Transcreditbank and in Board of ANO Zheldorreforma and also in Boards of Directors of the largest subsidiaries of JSC "Russian Railways".

2006: NPF Blagosostoyaniye

From 2006 to 2012 entered into Council of Blagosostoyaniye non-state pension fund.

2007: Chief representative of Venture Investments & Yield Management

In September, 2007. Orlov headed representative office of Venture Investments & Yield Management of the son of the head of Russian Railway Andrey Yakunin. After crisis, by the end of 2009, Orlov's views of perspectives of development of partnership in Russia dispersed from Yakunin, and he left partnership.

2009: Vice-chairman of Board of Directors of Transcreditbank

In 2009 it was appointed the Vice-chairman of Board of Directors of Transcreditbank.

2011

Share purchase Rosvagonmash

In 2011 redeemed shares of Rosvagonmash investment group which was owned before by Transcreditbank.

CEO of UK "RVM Capital"

Since 2011 works as the CEO of UK "RVM Capital" and heads Board of Directors of the investment group of the same name. The companies of group specialize in management of mutual investment funds of the real estate, direct and venture investments and also funds of the target capitals.

2015: Owner of Media of partners

In March, 2015 became the owner of 50% of Media Partner company.

He is married, brings up four children.
