Biography

1961-1986

Safra Catz was born in 1961 in Israel.

Katz moved from Israel to Brooklyn, the State of Massachusetts at the age of 6 years. She graduated from the Higher school of Brooklyn. In 1983 received degree of the bachelor of School Warton of the University of Pennsylvania (Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania) and a candidate's degree of the same university in 1986.

Worked in investment bank Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette.

1999: Transition to Oracle

Safra Catz joined Oracle in April, 1999, and two years later she joined the companies the board.

The board member of the company since October, 2001.

The president of Oracle since January, 2004.

The chief financial officer of Oracle Corporation since November, 2005.

2008-2009

2016: The highest paid female head in the USA
