Shandalov Andrey Valeryevich is the chairman of the board of directors of Optima. Son of the founder of Optima company Valery Shandalov. Provides strategic and operational management of business. Participates in development of strategy and tactics of development of holding.

Biography

Was born on January 30, 1978. Graduate of MGIMO, international economic relations. Candidate of Economic Sciences.

Since 1997 the employee in the company of the father Optima

  • Began a working career in 1997 the manager of the sales department of Optima.
  • In 2000 becomes at first the chief of the department of Online projects, and then, the director of the department of business solutions of JSC Optima.
  • After creation in 2002 within holding of consulting company OXS (it is renamed into Optima Services), it is appointed to the CEO's post.
  • In 2004-2006 – the Deputy CEO of JSC Berezovskaya GRES — 1, at the same time being the board member of Optima Group.

2006: Chairman of the board of directors of Optima

In 2006 it is elected the chairman of the board of directors of Optima.

2008-2013: Energostrim is the unsuccessful project in power

In 2008 Andrey Shandalov together with two friends, fellow students on MGIMO Yury Zhelyabovsky and Valery Yeliseyev decided to earn from reform of power and to create the power sales holding - Energostrim. In the years ahead the company gained scandalous fame, having become the largest debtor of the power industry of Russia. In August, 2012 it was reported that the total debt of the companies of group makes about 25 billion rub[1].

According to[2], for August, 2012 Andrey Shandalov was the main beneficiary of the Energostrim group.

According to media, the failure in development of the company became result of large-scale plunders from the former management of the company against which in January, 2013 criminal case[3] was opened].

For January, 2013, according to the USRLE, Andrey Shandalov does not appear among co-owners of Energostrim company.
