The chief executive of an IT cluster Skolkovo Alexander Turkot left the post on July 20, 2012. "I decided to continue work in other place and now I select from several options, - he told CNews. – At the same time I do not terminate communication with fund yet, I remain the adviser to the president".

Speaking about the reasons of resignation, Turkot reported that it "decided to be engaged in business".

The chief executive of a cluster Alexander Turkot became in November, 2010. In the summer of 2012 CNews wrote about a noticeable initiative of an IT cluster of creation of association of representatives of large Russian state corporations, the Russian and foreign IT partner companies of the innovation center and also scientific institutions.

Also the Skolkovo Foundation during this time selected to the Russian IT companies a number of grants and signed agreements with the prime foreign IT suppliers on opening in Russia of development centers. For example, at the end of 2011 such document was signed with the German SAP.

Before arrival to Skolkovo within nearly two years Turkot directed later the closed Russian department of My Space. Even before its pit it was connected with IBM for which it worked in the most different countries from Switzerland to Japan.
