Flag-Tag is a RFID tag for goods marking with specific packaging.

2019: Serial release of Flag-Tag

On August 16, 2019 the Mikron company reported that it mastered serial release of radio-frequency identification (RFID) tags of M3946/1R6 or Flag-Tag for goods marking and packaging. The special form of a tag in the form of a checkbox allows to identify a subject at distance to 5 meters. The tag of Flag-Tag can be applied to the glass, metal, foiled and smooth surfaces, including to bottles and other goods from any material type, for the purpose of automation of inventory and inventory and logistic control.

The radio tag is executed in the form of the Flag-Tag checkbox so that a glue layer only the area for drawing on object of marking has, and the tag antenna at the same time is airborne and is not pasted to a surface. Thus, the tag can be applied easily on a surface from any material and it will be read out with guarantee. This product passed laboratory and field tests and is ready to serial release. According to the company, the RFID tag of M3946 of the ultrahigh-frequency range (UHF) is developed by RFID laboratory of Micron by the special order. The tag, size 39*46mm, has in the construction special hlyastik for gluing on the covers of bottles and other objects having packaging, specific in a form or material. At the expense of a non-standard type of a tag the distance of its reading is 5 times more in comparison with tags, similar on dimensions, without hlyastik.
