IntelliSpace AI Workflow Suite is a part of family of the innovative solutions of Philips for optimization of work of departments of radiodiagnosis. It is a complex of the integrated products which represent the universal platform for consolidation of clinical opportunities and optimization of workflow at each stage of a way of the patient.

2019: Start of the IntelliSpace AI Workflow Suite platform

On December 10, 2019 Royal Philips announced start of the IntelliSpace AI Workflow Suite platform designed to help medical institutions to implement smoothly applications based on the artificial intelligence (AI) in work with medical images. IntelliSpace AI Workflow Suite – is a part of family of solutions of Philips for radiodiagnosis. This universal platform includes a full range of necessary applications for integration and centralized operation by AI algorithms, structures results of radiological researches and makes them available in all clinic where it is necessary. Aidoc, MaxQ AI, Quibim, Riverain Technologies and Zebra Medical companies became partner creators of the applications for the platform.

Philips started the IntelliSpace AI Workflow Suite platform

According to the developer, at implementation in infrastructure of department and all clinic IntelliSpace AI Workflow Suite automatically sends clinical data to the AI corresponding application in an ecosystem of clinic that provides automatic preliminary data analysis without participation of the user. Then the program issues ready result of processing to the specialist. The platform answers the aspiration of Philips to provide to clinics open and universal solutions for AI in medical visualization. Technology it is native it is integrated with other solutions of Philips in the field of diagnostic imaging and medical information science. IntelliSpace AI Workflow Suite can be also used with the equipment of other producers. Besides, the platform supports machine learning of different applications on the basis of AI (including independent developments and startups) using local data.

As noted in Philips, applications for interpretation of medical pictures and algorithms based on AI play an important role in achievement of the four-component purpose of health care: improvements of clinical results and efficiency of treatment, reducing costs of health care and increase in satisfaction of patients and doctors. As the number of applications and partners grows, clinics risk to meet difficulties of adaptation and administrative costs. Using smooth application integration of partners of Philips, IntelliSpace AI Workflow Suite allows organizations to use modern applications based on AI that increases confidence of doctors in the diagnosis and efficiency of treatment, without complicating process.

According to the statement of the developer, in the Philips IntelliSpace AI Workflow Suite platform for December, 2019 algorithms of AI of the following partner companies are already available.

  • Aidoc: an algorithm for the analysis of intra cranial bleedings, cracks in cervical department of a backbone and an embolism of pulmonary vessels;
  • MaxQ AI: an algorithm, including the ACCIPIO platform for the analysis of intra cranial bleedings and a stroke;
  • Quibim: an algorithm for detection of injuries of a brain, for classification of roentgenograms of a thorax, assessment of emphysema, concentration of fat and iron in a liver and the analysis of an atrophy of a brain;
  • Riverain Technologies: an algorithm, the including ClearRead bone suppression, technology of cleaning of pictures of a thorax from images of bones, and ClearRead CT improving effectiveness of KT;
  • Zebra Medical: an algorithm for the analysis of intra cranial bleedings and pheumothorax.[1]
