2019: Representation of radio sublight of the purpose to the station

On October 10, 2019 Rostec reported that the Ruselectronics holding developed radar station for detection of small-sized drones at distance to 7.5 km. The equipment is constructed completely on domestic electronic and component base.

Drone

The station of radio sublight of the purpose (ROC) is intended for detection and maintenance of the pinpoint and low-contrast targets with an effective area of dispersion from 30 square centimeters, broad range of speeds and a possibility of commission of flights at small and midget heights. At detection of an object the equipment transfers information to a supervisory console or to command center.

The equipment is the multichannel radar station of KA range differing in small dimensions – 325×240×230 mm. The ROC takes place on a rotating device which provides the overview in all directions. The station can be controlled both manually from the notebook, and automatically.

Dangers which can represent drones become more and more obvious. Small-sized drones are capable to observe, investigation, to bear explosive or other arms and to serve as means of attack. Act alone or as a part of the whole "swarm of drones". And it is not only about the special UAVs manufactured in industrial conditions. It can be a toy kopter from children's shop or the device produced by a handicraft method. Traditional methods of a radar-location do not provide reliable detection of the UAV with a small reflective surface. Development of our Ruselectronics holding solves this problem. Certainly, the invention will be demanded both among special, and among civil customers,

The complex is developed by specialists of JSC NPP Salyut (Enters in Ruselectronics) together with MKB "Torch" (enters into Concern VKO "Almaz-Antey"). For October, 2019 the first samples of the equipment are created and field tests of radar station are carried out.
