2019: Start of Parental control service

On February 19, 2019 Tele2, the alternative mobile operator, announced start of Parental control service. The service helps to protect children from an inappropriate content, to keep track of location of the child and to check operation of his gadget. This service allows to check the list of the applications used by the child. Adults can block access to an inappropriate content, limit operating time of certain applications and the websites, to receive statistics on services.

Function, important for safety of children, is an opportunity to browse their routes during the selected time. Parents will receive the notification if the child left the usual territory – for example, left for hometown borders. Adults can also obtain up-to-date information about a status of the mobile account of children and monitor battery power.

At emergence of emergency situations children can click SOS then on parent smartphones the message with indication of location of the child immediately will appear. The operator fixes his coordinates on mobile application or a radio network. Special buttons to parents to an emergency communication with children – sendings messages "Where you are also available?" and "Call me". After clicking by the child of the I Here button the application will remove coordinates and will send to the parent. Besides, children can use the Call Me or Fill Up My Account buttons.

The service allows to connect the second parent to shared control by service. Within one subscription parents can add up to 10 children. Service is available for OS Android and iOS. Users need to install the My Parents application on the device of the child and "My children" – on the parent smartphone. At the same time parents can be limited internet- the website, without installing the application. The cost of service is 9 rub a day.

The free version of service is also available to subscribers. In its framework the parent can add one gadget to the list, control battery power of the device and receive notifications on clicking of the SOS and "Call Back to Me" buttons.
