2020: Synchronizing with the MS Outlook calendar

On July 2, 2020, the 1S-KPD team announced the expansion of 1C: Document Flow functionality using the 1C: Document Flow calendar synchronization module and MS Outlook. Now 1C: Workflow users can make changes to the event calendar and these changes will also be duplicated in the MS Outlook calendar. Changes take place bilaterally, so entries in MS Outlook will also appear in the 1C: Document Flow calendar. The module significantly speeds up work with calendars, making event tracking and appointment scheduling faster and easier.

1C: Document flow gradually acquires functionality that brings it closer to the title of a full-fledged working environment in which you can perform all the tasks necessary for the organization: from storing documents to taking into account working time and planning labor costs, - says Natalia Burtseva, director of the 1S-KPD, - With each of our additions, we strive to bring "1C: Document flow" closer to its functional peak.

The integration module is running locally on the user's computer because the "1C: Document Flow" for synchronization accesses the installed MS Outlook. This means that synchronization delay due to the geographical remoteness of the server is excluded.

2016: Version 2.1 "1C: Document Flow 8"

2015: Version 2.0 "1C: Document Flow 8"

The company 1C"" released in May 2015 a version of the "8" system 1C: Document Flow. Version 2.0 contains many new tools to improve document, process, and project management. Improved interface, flexibility of settings, expanded functionality of the system will make the work of users more convenient, dynamic and operational.

1C: Document Flow is a modern ECM system (Enterprise Content Management) that automates the full cycle of document processing, process and project management. It employs more than 200,000 users every day, including employees of such large enterprises as Bashkirenergo (3000 users), Gazprom Neft (2000 users), TMS Group (1500 users), IDGC of Siberia (1300 users), etc.

Organizations implementing 1C: Document Flow, first of all, strive to reduce the time for making management decisions and reduce the risk of losing important documents. They need tools for efficient user collaboration, quick document formation and coordination, and employee planning and monitoring. In order for the solution of these problems to be as convenient and operational as possible, 1C released a fundamentally new version 2.0 1C: Document Flow 8.

Among the main innovations:

  • The system has been transferred to the proprietary interface "Taxi," which allows you to flexibly customize it for the needs and tasks of a particular employee. Each program window displays only what is needed for work, and is not overloaded with additional information. All forms of the interface are simple and understandable. This simplifies the work in the system and significantly saves the time of users - less clicks, transitions, inputs.
  • The usual operations in the new version are performed much faster. Large-scale usability testing conducted before the release of edition 2.0 showed that it now takes, on average, half the time to perform everyday actions in the program.
  • A simple and intuitive interface allows new employees to quickly learn the principles of working in the system and get involved in the work of the organization without wasting their time on training.
  • Enhanced capabilities of tools that improve the efficiency of user collaboration, such as mail, processes, tasks, calendars, etc. For example, now, with any interaction (sending mail, planning events and tasks), the program warns of the absence of certain employees. This helps to more efficiently plan the work of specialists, reduces the timing of approvals and does not allow documents and tasks to "hang" - the company will no longer miss the supplier's profitable offer due to the fact that the contract lasts several days without movement and is waiting for the agreement of the absent employee.
  • The formation of documents has been simplified and accelerated: when creating files, the system displays a list of recently used templates, it is possible to automatically fill in the counterparty's TIN details based on the USRN, and now several files can be signed with an electronic signature (EP).
  • The user's new "desktop" helps employees plan their work efficiently and focus their efforts on the most important and urgent tasks. When the program is launched, the "desktop" displays information about all activities assigned to the upcoming day: events, letters, calendar entries, documents, etc. This helps with one glance to assess the upcoming front of work and start with the main thing.
  • It has become easier to track the implementation of project tasks and control the work of performers. Information on the status of each stage of work will help the manager to make corrective decisions and avoid disruption to the project deadlines, and a report on the amount of time spent by employees on the project will assess the effectiveness of resource use.

Revision 2.0 "1C: Document Flow" was developed on the latest version 8.3 of the "1C: Enterprise" platform and uses all the capabilities laid down in it. In particular, the user can choose and combine with each other any of the most convenient and profitable ways of working in the system. For example, you can install the program in the office and work with it in local mode, you can connect to your office base from home through the 1C:Link service, or you can go into cloud mode by deploying the system on remote servers. In the local version on the computer and through the browser, the system will look and work in exactly the same way. Applications for working with "1C: Document Flow" on a tablet or mobile phone are available on the AppStore and Google Play.

At the same time, the new "1C: Document turnover 8" provides all the functionality of the previous version, including:

  • Centralized, secure and user-aware access to documents
  • Processing of all types of documents: office documents, texts, images, audio and video files, design system documents, archives, applications, etc.
  • Registration of incoming and outgoing correspondence, sending documents from the database by e-mail, with the ability to download incoming and internal correspondence directly from the e-mail box.
  • Collaboration with documents and management of business processes: review, approval and approval of documents, execution and execution of orders, etc.
  • Time Accounting and Project Execution Control

Revision 2.0 is provided to users "1C: Document Flow 8," who have a valid 1S:ITS Information Technology Support Agreement. In order to take advantage of the new version, you just need to update the system. In this case, all data accumulated in the previous version is saved.

2014: Version 1.3.2.4 "1C: Document Flow 8"

On February 27, 2014, 1C made available for download the configuration of the new software version - 1C: Document Flow 8 1.3.2.4.

Unlike demo version 1.3.2.3, this configuration, although designed to work with platform 8.3, is valid - you can update the work base without risking data.

2012: Version 1.2 "1C: Document Flow 8"

In March 2012, a new version 1.2 of the 1C: Document Flow 8 program was released, which implemented the largest number of improvements during the entire development of the product. Among them:

  • setting up arbitrary work routes, the order and conditions of transitions between stages;
  • means for supporting the planning and holding of meetings and monitoring the implementation of decisions made;
  • personal setting up of the "Manager's Desktop" to organize convenient work on review, coordination, approval of documents and monitoring of employees' work;

The tasks of automation of the document flow of state institutions are becoming more and more relevant - in connection with the active development of e-government, services for the provision of public services in electronic form, and the expansion of interdepartmental electronic interaction. At the exhibition, 1C for the first time presented 1C: Document Flow of public institution 8, a new specialized solution for automating the accounting and exchange of documents, employee interaction, control and analysis of performing discipline in state institutions. The decision complies with the main office standards, GOSTs and regulatory acts, including the Order of the Ministry of Telecom and Mass Communications dated 02.09.2011 No. 221 "On Approval of the Requirements for Information Systems of Electronic Document Management of Federal Executive Bodies, taking into account, among other things, the need to process service information of limited distribution through these systems" and provides support for interdepartmental electronic document management (EDO), the ability to connect to the interdepartmental electronic interaction system (CMEV).
