Complex of Technical Software tools of the Increased Reliability (KTPS-PN)

KTPS-PN — the Russian protected platform of a digital APCS for creation local and distributed control systems (RSU, DCS), Emergency protection systems (PAZ, SAS), the Systems of advanced management (SUU TP, APC), Management systems for production processes (an ACS of software, MES), Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), etc.


The high functionality and reliability of KTPS-PN is defined by the following factors:

  • application of failsafe functional analog and discrete units with active and passive self-diagnostics;
  • standardization of constructive technological solutions;
  • organization of a local network parallel op dew of one segment of a subsystem;
  • use of industrial computers (hubs) for processing and information transfer on the top level;
  • use of standard noiseproof serial interfaces;
  • duplication of the elements solving functional problems;
  • use of single-crystal microcontrollers with an internal memory of flash programs and static memory of data;
  • record of programs in an internal PROM of the microcontroller with protection against external intervention;
  • implementation of functions of calculation and conversion in analog blocks or controllers of a cabinet;
  • possibility of a combination of "tough logic" and programmable means;
  • application of modern automated design engineering systems;
  • high standardization of software, algorithmic and information solutions;
  • small energy consumption, lack of forced cooling;
  • application of own operating environment or the protected operating environment
  • real time;
  • resistance of a system to network attacks and known vulnerabilities;
  • acceptance and signal transmission on digital and fiber optic communication lines.

The research works with participation of the leading project organizations were completed by appearance of new generation of technical solutions for an APCS.

KTPS-PN conforms to the existing standards in nuclear power and is suitable for application in critical information infrastructure of an APCS.

KTPS-PN was developed for application on again under construction NPPs and also for replacement developing the service life on already operating.

The nomenclature of the technical means and the software released by the enterprise allows to solve effectively a problem of a variety of creation of the systems of the NPPs, important for security, (diversitt) at design and implementation of an APCS of new generation.

  • The complex conforms to requirements of standards of Russia, regulations and the recommendations of an IEC and IAEA for systems important for security of the NPP. The equipment of KTPS-PN is certified in the OIT system (No. POCC RU.0001.01A300.77.1 1.0026);
  • The complex saves working capacity at an earthquake intensity to nine points;

  • Security class on OPB 88/97 — 2U;
  • On resistance to mechanical external factors (GOST 17516.1-90) the complex corresponds to M38 group.
  • KTPS-PN equipment service life — not less than 30 years;
  • Cabinets and KTPS-PN blocks are made on specifications of TU 4024-008-00226939-2004 and TU 4024-010-00226939-2004.

The complex includes (data for March, 2018):

  • basic cabinet of ShB KTPS-PN for installation of managing blocks and blocks of logical signal processing;
  • cabinet of current signals of ShTS KTPS-PN for installation of blocks of acceptance of current and discrete signals;
  • managing stations (hub) of KTPS-PN;
  • the gateway KTPS-PN — duplicated;
  • set of office and functional units;
  • remote control unit equipment of UDU;
  • service means.

2018: Integration of Viola OS

The Russian IT company BaseALT and the Moscow plant Fizpribor announced on August 9, 2018 inclusion operating system "Viola" in structure of the protected digital platform APCS / IIoT for the NPP and other objects of industrial automation. In more detail here.
