pSeven is a software platform, a specialized software package for automation of engineering calculations, predictive modeling and multidisciplinary optimization. The system is based on the algorithmic core of MACROS.

2023: Integration with "Pilot: PLM"

The companies ASCON DATADVANCE and signed an agreement on a technological partnership in the development of settlement management systems (data SPDM). The joint SPDM solution will be implemented through system integration engineering data management the lifecycle of the PILOT product PLM cloudy low-code : and the pSeven Enterprise platform for automating engineering calculations throughout the enterprise. Both products are included in. Register of Russian Software ASCON reported this on September 4, 2023. More. here

2019: Inclusion in the Register of Domestic Software

The pSeven software package developed by the Skolkovo Foundation resident company is "Datadvans" included in. The decision was unified register of Russian programs for electronic computers and databases made based on the results of the audit of the Expert Council and approved by the Order, the Ministry of Telecom and Mass Communications of russia Skolkovo Foundation reported on August 2, 2019.

The pSeven platform is designed to explore the space of design parameters, engineering optimization and predictive modeling. pSeven reduces the time and cost of creating innovative products, as well as their quality and technical characteristics.

The software package has been developed by employees of the head office of Datavans in Moscow and has been implemented on the Russian market for about 10 years. Among the users of the platform are domestic enterprises of aerospace, energy, shipbuilding, engineering and other industries. After entering into the register of Russian programs, pSeven can also be purchased by state and municipal institutions.

2016

pSeven 6.8

On August 4, 2016, Datadvance announced the release of the pSeven software platform version 6.8.

pSeven Software Window Scrunch, (2016)

Augmented[1] DATADVANCE[1]:

  • SmartSelection technology is added to the Predictive Modeling Toolkit. SmartSelection is a smart model learning algorithm that automatically selects the approximation method and its parameters to obtain the most accurate surrogate model, based both on the analysis of the properties of the training sample and on additional information about the data and the nature of the dependencies.
  • Other improvements in Predictive Modeling Toolkit include the ability to train models that predict the undefined behavior of a function, queuing models for training, processing non-numeric values in training data, and smoothing models after training.
  • pSeven can now run any application integrated into the calculation scheme on a remote computer (running both Windows and Linux) using a special pSeven Agent utility that automatically installs with pSeven and can be used to deploy distributed calculation schemes.
  • Added the functions of the task manager during the execution of calculations: now the progress of the calculation can be monitored in real time, and individual blocks can be stopped without stopping the calculation as a whole.
  • Added the ability to handle errors in composite blocks. Composite blocks can now intercept errors from embedded blocks and process them in this way, in particular, allowing them not to stop the calculation when they occur.
  • pSeven 6.8 also includes an update to the pSeven Core library (formerly MACROS), which includes algorithms for exploring the design parameter space. The updated version of pSeven Core contains a number of improvements and fixes in approximation and optimization algorithms, primarily in robust optimization and optimization methods based on surrogate models.

Borlas and Datadvance have integrated pSeven and Teamcenter to work with engineering data

In June 2016, the Borlas Consulting Group and the Russian engineering software developer Datadvance presented a solution for integrating the specialized engineering analysis and optimization system pSeven and the Teamcenter product lifecycle management platform from Siemens PLM Software. The joint development allows you to automate calculation methods, analyze engineering data and optimize products in the integrated environment of pSeven and Teamcenter, including the ability to work with calculation data and calculation methods using Teamcenter tools.

This development reduces the time and resources required to analyze the calculated data and optimize the product, as well as the number of errors associated with the loss of information when creating new calculations. No specialized solutions are required to access the calculation data, which will also allow enterprises to save on hardware resources and purchases of additional software.

The main purpose of the new development is to solve the problems of optimal design based on pSeven with the ability to manage and store calculation data in the Teamcenter product lifecycle management system. In particular, access to calculation data is based on the Teamcenter Simulation Process Management (SPM) module.

The integration of engineering data from pSeven into Teamcenter SPM allows you to view the results of optimization calculations on any enterprise computer that has access to Teamcenter. No dedicated software, including pSeven itself, is required for review and preview. The orderly storage and data structure provided in the system allows employees to quickly access the required slice of information.

Among the main features of this solution:

  • support for the versionality of both the automated calculation methods themselves and the calculated data with the possibility of distinguishing access rights;
  • creation of new schemes of optimization calculations based on existing ones with preservation of links between them;
  • centrally structured storage of optimization calculation data, including storage of intermediate calculation iterations and data for simplified presentation of intermediate results;
  • Viewing the results of optimization calculation iterations almost in real time without loading the calculated software.
  • Data loss protection (backup) with a centralized storage architecture
  • storage in a single format that allows you to unify the processing of input data and results.

2014: Properties and characteristics of pSeven

As of September 2014, the pSeven platform can be used by all members of the product development team at all stages of its life cycle. It is an intelligent solution that allows designers and engineers without experience in data analysis and engineering optimization to solve complex optimization problems and find optimal technical solutions.

Using pSeven helps:

  • Significantly reduce overall product development time by reducing the number of costly physical tests and computational experiments
  • improve the technical characteristics, stability, reliability and safety of the designed products through the use of advanced optimization algorithms;
  • Identify the most important factors affecting product cost and performance
  • Reuse data and securely share models with partners and suppliers while maintaining privacy and intellectual property rights.

pSeven easily integrates into existing enterprise business processes, allowing you to quickly see the implementation effect.
