The product is implemented on Web technologies, belongs to the class ECM and at the same time is the platform for creation of any configurations under specific tasks.

EOS Group develops a system since 2001, changing it according to relevant trends of the market and customer needs. Today eDocLib "from a box" supports the most demanded business processes – creation of electronic storages (archives) of texts, graphic files, multimedia content, collective work on projects, document flow, ensuring access to bases, including for external users.

Users create in eDocLib archives of agreements, financial, project, allowing documentation, regulatory legal acts, etc. On the eDocLib platform the set of specialized configurations, the most demanded of which – eDocLib, is developed: "Storage and digitization". For auto eject of metadata (the name, date, the amount, etc.), their transfer in cards and rubrications intellectual technologies from ABBYY can be used that allows to accelerate seriously document handling at a stage of their input in eDocLib.

Compatibility with keys and smart cards of JaCarta

Compatibility with OS "Viola of 8 joint ventures" and "Viola Workstation 8"

On September 18, 2019 the EOS Group company reported that together with BaseALT successfully completed testing for system compatibility of corporate content management (ECM) of eDocLib (development of EOS Group) and operating systems "the Viola of 8 joint ventures" and "A viola Workstation 8" (developments of BaseALT).

Based on testing of the company signed the certificate confirming correctness of joint work of products.

2017: eDocLib 2.6.2

Exponential growth of information arrays and expansion of scope of electronic documents out of limits of a corporate circuit dictate increased requirements to ECM systems. Additions completely meet in eDocLib 2.6.2 needs of our clients for the solution of new tasks at the new technology level. Among them:

  • updating of the interface and enhanced capabilities of its customization;
  • new tools for acceleration of creation and processing of objects;
  • additional opportunities of export import and integration;
  • the updated policy of administration of the user rights and many other things.

eDocLib provides tools for joint work and task management

In version 2.6.2 there were new tools accelerating and simplifying work with files. Now directly from a card of an object the preview of files of all popular formats, including the MS Office applications is possible. It is possible to browse the GIF, PNG, JPG, WMV, PDF, TIF, TIFF, DOC, DOCX, DOCM, RTF, XLS, XLSX, XLSM, PPT, PPTX, PPTM formats. Several PDF files can be integrated directly in the system interface, without start of the third-party application.

It became simpler to create new objects. Now it is possible to configure automatic formation of the new version of a card if its certain attributes change. For fast creation of the same objects in browse mode the "Create the Document of the Same Group" command is entered.

Search capabilities in version 2.6.2 are expanded due to use of new search operators. Search in existence or lack of values in details is entered, also now it is possible to look for according to all available document revisions.

In version 2.6.2 many additional opportunities for individualization of the interface and its setup according to under specifics of business processes appeared. Employees can configure a sequence of elements of a control panel by drag&drop method, regulate under themselves the preview window mode, and a system "remembers" these settings for the specific user. Copying of the search queries and filters which are used in personal folders and headings is also implemented. Now it is possible to add the buttons which are responsible for accomplishment of a new command on the server of the application or opening of a dialog box to screen forms.

Libraries, bases of regulating documents, archive materials, technical documentation and many other things it is even more often offered to use as services – on the Internet, in paid or free option. For this scope of application in eDocLib the feature for creation of users with limited time of access is added. Besides, not only officials, but also citizens can be users of a system now.

Support of all popular browsers of OS Windows is added to the new version: MS of Internet Explorer 11 for Windows 7, 8.1; MS Edge for Windows 10; Google Chrome for Windows 7, 8.1, 10.

In version 2.6.2 is and many other changes – they affected a circuit of document flow and work with instructions, export import transactions, the administration module, routing, etc. Special attention was paid to fall forward of system operation in the different modes.

2016: eDocLib 2.6

On average about 50% of working time of the employee to be spent on information search – in file storages, computers of employees, separate information systems. The eDocLib platform allows to collect information in uniform base and to provide to each of employees quick and evident access according to duties.

Often, employees try not to use the existing workflow system. The eDocLib platform allows not only to implement methodologically verified document flow according to accepted standards, but also easily and visually to automate the "real" processes of interaction which developed in the organization – accomplishment of tasks, approval of internal documents, preparation of memos without breaking work in the existing EDMS.

Integration opportunities of the platform allow to exchange data with any information systems, providing, thus, centralization of information resources of the organization. Security issues and reliability of data storage – differentiation of access rights, maintaining protocols of actions of users and so forth are in details handled.

The solution eDocLib is actively used for creation of archives of primary accounting documentation, finance documents with a possibility of fast translation of paper documents in electronic a type, hands-off processing and evident search with different options of unloading of results in the MS Excel and other applications.

In public institutions of eDocLIb it is successfully applied to workflow automation and also to the organization of specialized knowledge bases (for example, under regulatory legal acts).

A system allows to store and systematize also graphic, video and audiofiles that allows to create based on eDocLib of storage of the multimedia information, the training materials, etc.

Users have an opportunity to organize the personal space in eDocLib:

  • the system of the structured personal folders for storage of links to content objects;
  • personal folders for systematization of the objects performed and new tasks, the arrived messages;
  • individual system of notifications and notifications.

eDocLib 2.6 includes additional opportunities on the organization of managerial document flow. eDocLib 2.5

The eDocLib ECM system allows to organize storage and online access to corporate information. A system provides a full range of tools for structuring and data storage, file management and documents, collective work with information and automation of workflows and differs in customizability.

To see changes in the user interface of the program it is enough to open any document saved in a system: the document window title contains not only the name, but also the main information on the document now – group to which the document, registration number, an operation mode with the document and date is carried.

Also document retrieval in a system became more convenient, the option of search in all attributes and the complete text of the document at the same time is added to the search mechanism, for example. An opportunity to indicate the range of dates relative current that it can be very convenient for creation of search query on relevant accounts, agreements, etc. is provided.

Changes also are made to a form of representation of search results. There was an opportunity to create on the basis of search results a tabular form with a necessary set of attributes. As before, the found documents can be saved in personal folders. The distinctive feature of the new version – any user can provide now access to personal folders to other employees, using at the same time all standard set of options of differentiation of the rights implemented in eDocLib. Thus, personal folders can be used as the general information resource now and become one more mechanism of the organization of joint work.

Upgraded version of eDocLib provides closer integration with the set of applications, usual for many. The eDocLib system of version 2.5 allows to register the letters which came by e-mail as documents of eDocLib directly from Microsoft Outlook in the manual or automatic mode. Access to the documents which are stored in eDocLib can also be received directly from Outlook or the Conductor of Windows.

A number of the changes providing more convenient setup and administration of the data warehouse is entered to system configuration. Information input mechanisms in a system are finished — the new version of eDocLib supports work with the system of line scanning that allows to organize the translation of data from paper carriers in the eDocLib ECM system in most short time. Mechanisms of automatic document registration are provided and a number of additions is entered to the utility of Export/import of documents delivered in a set.

The cost of basic sets of the licenses expected requirements of the companies of the different size is saved at the previous level. Carrying out comparison on a ratio price/functionality with the foreign solutions allowing to implement similar functionality it is possible to claim that the eDocLib ECM system remains the unique offer in the Russian market.

eDocLib according to the SaaS model - stress testing of the platform is held

Within preparation for start of the service providing access to eDocLib according to the SaaS model stress testing of the platform unrolled at capacities of Int-Inform telecommunication company, the partner of EOS Group was held.

Check of compliance of service to the set criteria of quality and development of recommendations about scaling of a hardware platform was the main objective of testing.

For carrying out measurements with the help of the corresponding tools of Microsoft Visual Studio the procedure, executing standard user transactions with the data which are stored in the eDocLib system ("loading of the document", "reading the document", "search of the document in details", etc.) and the implementing model of load of the system corresponding to standard scenarios of its use was created. During tests response time of a system depending on number of active users and parameters of the virtual server on which a system was installed was fixed.

According to the received results, the eDocLib service deployed on a dedicated server of provider (4 Gbytes of OZU, Xeon CPU 2.67*4), provides accomplishment of search of the document in a set of details no more than in three seconds at simultaneous operation to one thousand users.

Before release of each release of a system we hold stress testing for the purpose of identification potentially of bottlenecks and carrying out necessary actions for optimization", – Andrey Poturayev, the head of department of instrumental programming of EOS Group company comments on results of testing.

The eDocLib system represents the finished solution for corporate content management differing in exclusive flexibility of setup, simplicity of service and moderate system requirements. Based on the platform a number of drawing configurations, for example "is created by eDocLib: Document flow", the automating full stroke of work with documents, and "eDocLib: Storage and digitization" for the organization of electronic archives. Besides, the eDocLib platform can be used by independent developers for creation of the different specialized systems.

In April, 2012 the Electronic Office Systems company officially announced start of SaaS service, providing access to the eDocLib platform. The eDocLib platform represents the finished solution for corporate content management and the organization of joint work of users. Use of eDocLib as service, will allow the acting and potential clients to reduce time of input of a system in operation, to refuse additional costs on purchase of the hardware, to minimize the risks connected with fault tolerance of information systems most flexibly to scale use of the solution depending on relevant business needs and to get many other advantages of work with the software as with service in the SaaS model.

The business process automation module for eDocLib

On "The module of business process automation eDocLib" the certificate of the Federal agency on intellectual property (No. 2013610176 of January 9, 2012) is received. The module of business process automation provides the evident tool for the description of standard scenarios of data processing for the eDocLib platform developed by Electronic Office Systems company. Together with the visual designer of objects, traditional for eDocLib, and visual interfaces, use of the Module will make simpler and convenient adaptation of the eDocLib platform according to specifics of business processes of the organization. "The business process automation module" will be included in the package of the eDocLib 2.6 platform. Also new version of the platform differs in the updated user interface and ample opportunities of interaction with mobile devices.

2004

eDocLib is an accounting system and storages of electronic documents at creation of corporate data warehouses. It is for the first time released in 2004. In 2006 received the certificate on official registration in the register of the computer programs.

A system is based on Web technologies and implemented on the Microsoft.NET platform, can be used as as the ready-made solution for creation of electronic archives, libraries, data warehouses, and as tools on the basis of which it is possible to do own developments.

Creation of documents in the eDocLib system does not demand high qualification from users. A system allows to create and fill out documents and reference books, to organize joint work of staff of geographically distributed structures with the single database by means of the Internet / Intranet, to attach files, to perform search, to maintain version control of documents by means of the graphical interface (a configurator and the editor of forms).

Functionally belonging to the class of corporate content management systems (ECM) the eDocLib system allows to automate and arrange work with data and documents in the different industries of business. The eDocLib system is the first software product in Russia and one of first-ever, the received Certified for Windows Server 2008 logo and certified under Windows Vista.

eDocLib conforms to the state normative and methodical requirements in the field of management of documents. Availability of the open API interface does possible integration of the eDocLib system with other information systems and business applications.
