EcoBRAS

EcoBRAS is the solution which allows the telecom operator to implement functionality of the service gateway (Services Gateway) including such opportunities necessary for each operator of broadband or wireless access, as access control of subscribers to services of data transmission, access rate restriction, shutdown of subscribers with readdressing on the portal or the page with the notification on need to recharge and also for demonstration to subscribers of information messages by readdressing on the portal.

Specific Features:

• EcoBRAS is the Russian product that is confirmed officially by the decision of the interdepartmental expert advice (IEA).
• Solution performance reaches 160 Gbit/sec. on one rack unit that exceeds foreign analogs. The device can service up to 250 thousand active at the same time working subscribers for whom rules restrictions of speed in both directions are set.
• The EcoNAT device is transparent for all types of office traffic, including, routing protocols: BGP, OSPF, ISIS, STP, LACP, BFD.
• EcoBRAS implements modern approach for connection of subscribers of IP over Ethernet (IPoE). The lack of additional encapsulation (PPTP, PPPoE and another) allows to increase reliability of a system, to simplify processing of subscriber traffic and debugging.
• Restriction of speed of traffic to the subscriber is performed in both directions, independently, with a step of 64 Kbps.
• An opportunity to create "Open Garden" with the list of the networks available to the disconnected subscribers is provided: DNS servers; websites of the company, payment systems, banks and so on.
• For restriction of speed of receiving and transmitting data or redirection for the portal and for account replenishment of the subscriber in EcoBRAS the system of the configured the politician and related services which represent a set of the operations performed in case of hit of the address of a source or purpose of a session in the specified ACL is used. The normal functionality of EcoBRAS assumes the Access Control List (ACL) task of level 3 and 4 in quality the politician, defining traffic to which rules of this service are applied. As actions the following transactions can be executed: "pass" (with restriction of speed), "block" and "redirect on the set URL". Work of EcoBRAS with functions of URL filtering (EcoFilter) allows to specify also in quality the politician the URL lists ("white" or "black"). For each subscriber about six services set statically or received dynamically using the RADIUS protocol can be at the same time active. In need of change it can be made for the subscriber of set of services or their parameters by means of the RADIUS Change of Authorization (CoA) function.
• At connection the IP address and the MAC address of the subscriber can be identified under the RADIUS protocol. For unknown subscribers providing service of redirection on the portal for identification by third-party means is possible (for example, by means of the SMS). According to the subscriber's profile, to it a set of services is appointed, on each of which the volume of the transferred and data retrieveds is considered and transferred to a billing system in messages of RADIUS Accounting. Besides, the device supports the corporate protocol of interaction with a billing system (the description of the protocol well on demand). The protocol is based on the PUSH method: the system of billing periodically connects to BRAS on TCP and gives a series of text commands. Billing regularly polls what contracts are created on the device and adds lacking or deletes superfluous. At the same time management of a set of subscriber services in real time (as in a case with CoA RADIUS), including by means of several billing systems at the same time is possible. The producer renders services in integration of any billing system with EcoBRAS both using open API, and using the RADIUS protocol.
