On February 6, 2020 it became known of the joint project of the Chinese producers smartphones Xiaomi, Huawei Technologies, Oppo and Vivo. The companies created the Global Developer Service Alliance (GDSA) platform allowing developers to place at the same time the applications in directories of each company of alliance. This project his authors want to throw down a challenge to domination Google Play, reports the agency Reuters.

Start of GDSA is planned for March, 2020, but terms can be reviewed because of the difficult situation in China connected with the outbreak of a coronavirus.

The new platform is designed to facilitate to developers of games, music, movies and other applications promotion of the applications in foreign markets. The number of 9 countries where GDSA will be started first of all, included Russia, India and Indonesia. It is reported on the website of the project which by February 6, 2020 is for the test stage.
