TechInsights reports that the Huawei Mate 60 Pro smartphone uses radio frequency modules and signal amplifiers manufactured by Chinese companies Maxscend Microelectronics and OnMicro Electronics, respectively. Most often, smartphone developers use elements of the American companies Skyworks Solutions and Qorvo for these purposes. It is noted that the architecture of the components installed in the Mate 60 Pro is "adapted for the Chinese industry": this means that Huawei is working closely with local suppliers to create analogues to American products and reduce dependence on foreign suppliers.

China, according to TechInsights, has also made strides in developing advanced SiP (System-in-Package) modules and radio frequency filters. In general, as noted, the country has made significant progress in developing its own microchips and has closed the technological gap with Western competitors, but as of the end of 2023 it has not completely overcome it.^[1]
