Junos Pulse

Junos Pulse is the solution allowing to improve provision of services for mobile devices during implementation by telecom operators of new services. New solutions will be able to provide continuous access, scalability and security regardless of location of the user.

The solution Junos Pulse was for the first time announced in October, 2009 as the main link of a software platform of Junos within the concept of "new network". This is the dynamic client for multiservice networks who allows administrators to implement the standardized security policies for final nodes – the most different notebooks, netbooks, smartphones irrespective of, corporate this equipment or private. Junos Pulse also allows to reduce the number of the software, necessary for end users, at the same time simplifying connection and access to network. End users will be able easily to be connected to network, and Junos Pulse will provide idle time and secure access to corporate resources from any device. Based on achievements in development of SSL VPN devices of the SA series, the solution for control of the unified access (Unified Access Control, AC) and platforms for acceleration of applications of the series WXC, Junos Pulse integrates all opportunities of these solutions, at the same time significantly reducing the amount of time, infrastructure costs and financial investments necessary for support of "new network".

Junos Pulse for iPad devices on iOS

In December, 2010 it was announced that the Junos Pulse application for devices iPad on iOS 4.2, allowing to provide secure access to corporate resources, is available in Apple shop iTunes App Store. In view of the fact that 65% of the companies from the list of Fortune of the 500th magazine of the same name use iPad for work and worldwide 7.5 million units of iPad were sold, security of this device becomes an integral part of work of corporations along with increase in mobility and productivity of employees.

Creation of the safe environment allows IT departments to improve business indicators thanks to more active involvement of mobile employees.
