The announcement of the protected Oniks08 tablet with the built-in Aladdin Trusted Security Module

On May 15, 2019 Aladdin R.D. company, the Russian developer and solution provider for information security support, and NPF Dolomant Ltd, domestic manufacturer of computing means for severe conditions of operation, submitted the next version of the protected ONIKS08 tablet with the built-in Aladdin TSM mean of the entrusted loading.

The protected ONIKS08 tablet is developed for application as a wearable or aircraft equipment in severe conditions of operation and the solution of a wide range of information and navigation tasks. The device can be used as the route computer of the driver of the locomotive, a panel of the operator of the mobile defectoscope, the information terminal of the police officer, the touch terminal for control and control of the equipment, etc.

Trusted Security Module (TSM) developed by Aladdin R.D. company for architecture of ARM is means of a trusted boot of level of basic input-output system (BIOS) of the second class of protection. The TSM mean of the entrusted loading is suitable for work with the data having privacy degree to "top secret" inclusive and also for work in the state information systems and in information systems of personal data processing of any level.

For May, 2019 the Aladdin TSM mean of the entrusted loading passes a certification process on compliance to a protection profile FSTEC Russia on the mean of the entrusted loading of the 2nd class (IT.SDZ.UB2.PZ). In addition to basic indicators, distinctive features of the created solution is the possibility authentications of the user before loading OS (the requirement of a profile), integrity checking of subjects of OS before loading: core, Device Tree, file systems and also protection of the OS files against inadvertent and deliberate changes and user data against unauthorized access.
