The Bulgarian developer of equipment rooms and software tools of document handling and ID cards the Prim41 Ltd company selected sensing technologies of the Russian company Smart Engines. Within cooperation the first delivery of 100 licenses of library of recognition of a machine-readable zone of documents (MRZ) of Smart IDReader is performed.
Integration of Smart Engines technologies into the Passport and ID card Reading-Prim41 software product provides high quality of recognition of data on any documents with the machine-readable zone executed according to the ISO/ICAO standard. At the same time the solutions Prim41 Ltd can process as scans and photos of images of documents now, and to work independently on mobile devices recognizing documents in a video flow.
Time of recognition of documents with MRZ on images on modern desktop computers does not exceed 1 seconds without time management which is required on obtaining the image. In mobile applications it is not necessary to scan and photograph the document, and for recognition using Smart Engines technologies it is enough to be shown to the device camera for 1-2 seconds.
