Projects based on blockchain technology
Blockchain — a distributed database which stores information on all transactions of participants of a system in the form of "a chain of blocks" (quite so with engl. Blockchain is translated). All users of a blockchain, speakers have a registry access as the collective notary who confirms truth of information in the database. The blockchain can be applied to financial transactions, identification of users, creation of technologies of cyber security, etc. Main article:
Where the blockchain is applied. Examples of projects
Despite active discussion the technology of a blockchain is still very poorly implemented. The majority of projects did not reach yet that level when it is possible to call them taken place, and stay in the actual status of perspective startups. It belongs both to Russian, and to the western systems.
| ||The reason is that the global IT community only just comes for the correct positioning of technology and understanding that it is necessary to apply it strictly in the place. One the fact that the companies providing services of agreement signature "on the Internet" still are not driven out of the market by blockchain solutions shows how much still it is possible and it is necessary to do, - Anton Havtorin, the head of practice says a blockchain of IT Group.|| |
Svetlana Vronskaya, the marketing director of Corus Consulting, considers that the successful project in any technology area can be considered only the project which showed cost efficiency. There are practically no such successful cases in Russia yet that is connected, however, more with the fact that projects only start and it is necessary that there passed time for their assessment.
| ||But at the same time I would note that the majority of projects which are implemented using a blockchain in Russia have no obviously expressed economic advantage yet in comparison with solutions and services which could be developed on traditional technologies. Moreover, even if to take into account work speed a solutions blockchain, then many companies of the commercial sector which these solutions developed and began to use face restriction of speed of work of traditional business applications – ERP CRM BI and others, - integrated about a blockchain products which just are not in time behind precipitancy of a blockchain, - she notes.|| |
| ||In general, cases are not enough, and it is normal, - Timur Akhmerov, the CEO of BARS GROUP says. - The technology is young, and its industrial use requires creation of an ecosystem. But interest constantly grows, so in the near future we will see its blossoming. According to researches the main part of the interested technology of the companies is ready to implement it after 2018. Except financial institutions also the state organizations are interested in technology.|| |
City Umka transport card of the city of Ryazan
Pilot project in which the blockchain is used for all transactions on cards. A project objective – to create the scalable transport system with the minimum transaction costs, for further carrying out ICO.
| ||Base of the project is the unique vacuum technology. The vacuum technology developed by our command and the CryptoSQL language which now is the most advanced among a blockchain on performance measures, functionality, speed and reliability is the basis for a core of superfast scalable Vakuum Blockchain with a high performance, - Fedor Gritsenko, the director of strategic projects of Servionica company tells.|| |
According to him, calculations on transport are one of the most perspective scopes of a blockchain.
Blockchain platform of loyalty BioCoin
The blockchain platform of loyalty BioCoin is the settlement system created by farmer cooperative LavkaLavka. From the legal point of view of a biokoina represent loyalty system points. They are charged instead of bonuses when the client purchases any goods at the company which joined the BioCoin platform.
The cafe, restaurants, shops and other enterprises can join BioCoin. The client can pay off then with the got points any other company which is also participating in the project.
Solution prototype with use a blockchain in the field of charge of the pension capital
SAP already for a long time works with the different companies and the organizations over development of scenarios of application a blockchain. So in Russia the company created a solution prototype with use a blockchain in the field of charge of the pension capital. The solution is directed to making process of management of the individual pension capital automated and transparent and also to reduce the number of intermediaries.
According to TAdviser, the prototype was developed SAP as the answer to requirement of the Association of Non-state Pension Funds (ANSPF) which advances use of a blockchain in a management system for the individual pension capital (IPC).
The idea of application of a blockchain in this case is in that the client could interact with NPF without intermediaries: through a personal account to obtain information on the charges and an account balance, to change service provider, an interest rate, to manage the account status and to use other functions.

Blockchain in Rosreestr
Capital management of Rosreestr is going to register up to 5000 real estate transactions a month using blockchain technology.
| ||Work on start of a pilot project on registration of separate types of transactions in the territory of Moscow using logic of smart contracts completely in the automated mode, i.e., without participation of the person is actively conducted, - the Minister of Economic Development Oreshkin Maxim said.|| |
However, this is not about all stages of registration but only about primary. In the automatic mode inspections of the document packages given on state registration the applicant including regarding an opportunity or impossibility of carrying out on the basis of it state registration will be carried out.
Meanwhile, Rosreestr already began to register using a blockchain agreements of individual share in construction (DDU). Within a pilot project passed through this procedure 100 DDU, concluded in the Leningrad Region.
Blockchain for MegaFon
The National Settlement Depositary (NSD) provided the settlement platform for bond issue of mobile Russian operator "MegaFon" using blockchain technology. Raiffeisenbank became the organizer and the buyer of bond issue for the amount of 500 million rubles.
The transaction is unique for the market as for the first time in the Russian practice the blockchain technology is applied to its implementation. Within structure of the transaction access to the decentralized platform is got the issuer, by central depository and the investor.
A system works only with the digitized assets, doing process of placement, the address and accounting of bonds by the most transparent and simple. Each participant of the transaction has an opportunity to exchange documents online, to keep track of the status of carrying out the transaction. Use of cryptographic protection and verification allows to perform all operations in electronic form that gives the chance to save time, to reduce costs of each of participants of the transaction, to online register/sign documents, to avoid a possibility of an error when signing documents.
Blockchain for S7 Airlines

In the world
For today in the world the set of projects in the different industries using blockchain technology is started already. However nevertheless to speak about some mass character so far early. In this sphere such IT monsters as Microsoft (Azure Blockchain as a Service), SAP, Samsung, IBM and others have a solution blockchain and practices in the portfolio. In addition to them, the set a blockchain projects is started by different startups.
Blockchain projects of Microsoft
For today based on Azure Blockchain as a Service from Microsoft the set a solutions blockchain is developed for the different industries already. So, for example, in the middle of March, 2017 the first in world history international transaction on transfer of carbon units through a blockchain took place. The first transactions were carried out between ecological fund "Russian Carbon" and Aera Group — the investor to the African ecological projects. The transaction on transfer of carbon units is made with the help a blockchain of an ecosystem of DAO IPCI developed with IT support of Airalab company in a cloud of Microsoft Azure Blockchain-as-a-Service (BaaS).
Within this project in fact the exchange of carbonic contracts is created. In case of large-scale application through the exchange transactions can be carried out to hundreds of millions dollars. The platform for the carbonic market can be used worldwide, in those countries where the Kyoto Protocol is ratified. Within this document the majority of industrialized countries agreed to reduction and regulation of emissions of greenhouse gases. They can make or, having implemented expensive energy-saving technologies, or having purchased carbonic contracts.
The Danish company Maerskc together with Microsoft, EY and Guardtime created a solution blockchain for security and optimization of insurance in the field of sea cargo transportation.

The solution optimizes process of armoring and payment of trips for users and also increases security and transparency for Webjet and its partners at transactions.
The Israeli Bank Hapoalim based on technology of Microsoft created a solution blockchain for joint work with clients with documents. This system allows to update safely information without personal presence of the user at bank.
| ||At the same time it is important to understand that the main value of a blockchain - in its application by a wide range of participants what results in the most effective result when using technology. Thus, we observe emergence of the increasing number of consortia, - Konstantin Goldstein, the leading technical evangelist of Microsoft, the blockchain-strategist in the region of Central and Eastern Europe says.|| |
So, possibilities of Azure are actively used, for example, Financial that by consortium Tayvani and the Central bank of Singapore - Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS). Moreover, MAS in partnership with R3, Ledger Technology and consortium of financial institutions (11 financial institutions and 5 technology companies) developed prototypes of the software of three different models for the decentralized interbank payments and calculations. These solutions were created in Azure Blockchain as a Service with direct technology support of Microsoft.
Blockchain projects of IBM
IBM practically right after blockchain entry into the market of financial technical-services realized prospects of this technology and was engaged in studying of its opportunities. In the company about 1.5 thousand specialists in the field of a blockchain work. In March, 2018 IBM announced implementation from above the 400th blockchain projects in the most different industries, including in retail, the sphere of financial services, transport, a public sector, health care, media, logistics, etc.
So, together with AIG IBM works on creation of the "smart" insurance agreement based on a blockchain for management of the international insurance coverage.

Blockchain projects of Alibaba
Alibaba and four Australian and New Zealand companies implemented the system of tracking of food based on blockchain technology. This system of tracking of foodstuff based on a blockchain can provide necessary transparency and legibility that can help to detect counterfeit ingredients, substitution or damage, and to make it much quicker.
The increased visibility of a supply chain of food will bring very notable benefit to all its participants; while suppliers will be able to detect and recover a certain bad batch, and consumers will be, in turn, better sure of product quality.
The consortium which received the name Food Trust Framework includes two New Zealand companies — Fonterra and New Zealand Post and also Blackmores from Australia and the Australian mail.
Products which go from New Zealand and Australia will be on sale through the main cross-border Tiball Global Alibaba market which will include "a set of standards and control facilities for process control of a supply chain, including blockchain technology and marking of a product using the unique QR code".
It will make all information on products, such as origin and history of transactions of products, available to users of the website Tmall. Tmall.com is the largest trade platform for business (B2C) in Asia allowing the companies to sell the goods directly to millions of consumers across all China.
In addition, Alibaba is going to use a blockchain for tracking of cross-border deliveries. As envisioned by organizers, the project will allow the Chinese consumers to trace from the different cities entering a scope of logistic company Cainiao, including Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen logistics information about 30,000 goods from 50 countries through mobile application of e-commerce on the basis of a blockchain.
Blockchain projects of SAP
In Italy, in the province the Southern Tyrol SAP used a blockchain for reduction of bureaucratic processes – in the government the database with use a blockchain which allows to look for information on any inhabitant quickly was created.
Other example – use a blockchain for cross-border bank transactions. Carried out by SAP together with Ripple, the Canadian bank ATB Financial and the German ReiseBank international bank transfer with the help a blockchain which took only about 20 seconds – unlike several days when carrying out transfer using normal technologies.
Blockchain project of Samsung
In April, 2018 Samsung Electronics announced implementation a blockchain system for management of a huge global network of deliveries which the company has. Due to new technology the South Korean giant expects to save billions of dollars.
Logistic the solution blockchain for Samsung was developed by subsidiary company — Samsung SDS. Her vice president Song Kwang-woo who is responsible for a blockchain projects said that a new system will have a huge impact on supply chains in manufacturing industry. Samsung decided to use a blockchain for reduction of time and increase in process performance of start of products and their deliveries to end users.
In Samsung SDS expect that in 2018 the platform will process delivery of 488 thousand tone of aviation loads and 1 million twenty-foot equivalents (the unit of measure of capacity of cargo means equal on volume to a twenty-foot container) consisting of smartphones, displays and other products. It is supposed that the innovation will cut down expenses on the goods delivery on 20%.
