2020: An opportunity to look for charges of housing and communal services on the uniform personal account and to pay payments via GIS of housing and public utilities
On January 14, 2020 the Bank announced Russian Standard release of the updated mobile application where users can look for charges of housing and communal services on the uniform personal account and pay payments through the State information system of housing and public utilities (GIS of housing and public utilities).
The section is in the Payments — Housing and Public Utilities tab: here it is necessary to press the "Search in GIS of Housing and Public Utilities" button. Further the client introduces the uniform personal account (UPA) – it is specified receipts for housing and public utilities, it is also easy to recognize him in the Personal account on the dom.gosuslugi.ru portal. Then, after recognition by the system of the personal account, charges which he can pay will become available to the client.
It should be noted that in the housing and public utilities GIS system – all service providers, and them more than 50,000 therefore users of Mobile bank of Russian Standard will be able to pay any receipt of housing and public utilities. By the way, if at the time of search charge was not found in the application, then in further RSB Mobile will send to the client the push-notification at once as soon as detects the created receipt in a system.
Also now there was an opportunity to make a subscription on the uniform personal account of GIS of housing and public utilities and to receive charges on all the utilities in the automatic mode.
In upgraded version of Mobile bank of Russian Standard carrying out payments on templates was considerably simplified. So, for example, all templates created in Mobile bank are identical created in Internet bank now.

Expansion of a possibility of use of QR codes

So to pay the electronic receipt, the bill of housing and communal services or it is possible to make any other payment by the QR code now not only using the camera, but also of the file (not including the camera on the smartphone). Start of payment of purchase by the QR code through the System of fast payments
On October 29, 2019 the Bank announced Russian Standard start in RSB Mobile Mobile bank of payment of goods and services in the QR code through the System of Fast Payments (SFP). It is possible to make purchases in such a way in retail stores and on the websites which are connected to service.
The technology is extremely simple in use. The buyer will need to select payment through SBP at the checkout or at completion of online purchase. Then using RSB Mobile to scan the QR code which is displayed on the terminal of outlet or on the computer screen (at the order on the website). Further – to confirm payment.
Thanks to the used Universal links technology: when scanning such QR code the standard camera – iPhone or Android will also automatically readdress the buyer in Mobile bank. Money from the account of the buyer will arrive into the account of shop practically right after purchase commission.
In the section "Card statement" of mobile application users will be able to see in what shop purchase was made. Perfect transactions are displayed with a special icon of "SBP". Payment commission is not charged.
Carrying out payments without confirmation by the code

Transfers by the phone number through the System of fast payments
On July 18, 2019 the Bank announced Russian Standard start in the mobile application to RSB Mobile of C2C of transfers through the System of fast payments. Now clients of Russian Standard will be able to exchange instant translations by the phone number with clients of SBP participating banks.
Clients of Russian Standard can make exchange of transfers in RSB Mobile Mobile bank. Transfers of Mobile bank clients of Russian Standard need to specify the phone number of the receiver in the section, then to select bank (it is necessary to specify at the receiver of payment in advance) and to enter amount of transfer.
Transfers through SBP by the phone number will be free for clients of Russian Standard at least till 2019.
Indisputable advantages of SBP – usability, the maximum efficiency of receipt of money for the account (from the moment of payment confirmation and before transfer of money for the account of the receiver there pass less than 15 seconds), the round-the-clock availability (including in days off and holidays). SBP conforms to all modern information security standards.
Function of payment of receipts by the QR code
The technological solution allowed clients to pay quickly. Use of the QR code exempted users of RSB Mobile from need to enter payment details. The service allows to make payment instantly: for this purpose it is only required to scan a barcode of the payment document using the smartphone camera then details automatically will appear in the necessary fields.
Function of payment of receipts by the QR code is simple in use for this reason it is available to users of any age category. In RSB Mobile it is possible to pay housing and communal services, penalties of traffic police, taxes, to subscribe for state services and also to ask any interesting question to the employee of the bank in a special online chat.

The average amount of online payment for housing and communal services decreased by 0.5%
On January 30, 2019 the Bank Russian Standard company reported that it studied as clients paid for housing and communal services in RSB Mobile Mobile bank in 2018. The average payment amount over the country decreased a little - from 3152 rub to 3135 rub.
According to the company if in 2017 the average amount of online payment of housing and communal services grew by 1.21%, then in 2018 it decreased by 0.5%. Decrease in the average check against the background of the grown rates explains significant increase in number of payments: people began to pay bills more often. Statistics shows that if the previous year the large amounts in payment orders in 2-3 months were fixed, then now it is less amount with monthly regularity. Besides, experts note that clients began to treat more carefully natural resources and more economically to consume them, including using lower "night" rates.
From top-10 the cities by the number of such payments opposite trends, for example, were outlined in two multimillion capitals. The average bill in Moscow grew from 3254 rub to 3270 rub, and here residents of St. Petersburg considerably cut down expenses - the payment decreased from 2992 rub to 2630 rub.
However not in all participants top-10 the average payment amount for housing and communal services falls. So, for example, the average bill grew in Krasnodar from 2589 rub to 2850 rub, in Naberezhnye Chelny - from 3007 rub to 4140 rub, in Voronezh - from 1321 rub to 1350 rub.
According to Bank Russian Standard, in 2018 the average payment amount in housing and communal services in RSB Mobile Mobile bank decreased by 0.5% in comparison with 2017 - from 3152 rub to 3135 rub.
The smallest average bill in RSB Mobile Mobile bank among regions with a large number of transactions was mentioned in Tula region and was 987 rub, the greatest - in: 4,638 rub.
Within the research the bank studied operations on payment of housing and communal services of active users of RSB Mobile Mobile bank in 2017 and 2018.
An opportunity to receive and transfer funds to clients of third-party banks by the phone number
In the updated Mobile bank now clients of other banks can receive and transfer money only by the phone number. It is not necessary to request the card number or account details from the receiver any more. It is possible to be connected to service on the screen of detailed information on the card (Transactions tab). Pay attention that for accomplishment of transfer to other bank only by the phone number - the receiver of means also should connect similar service in the bank.
Besides, now the acting users will be able at a transaction design by installments on the credit card to select the term for which it will be issued from the application. This service paid, information on cost is specified on the transaction design screen by installments.
Now, depending on the products which are available for the client, limits on payments and transfers from the account of RS Cashback will become individual.
