Rostelecom: Safe city

Rostelecom by the end of 2012 will present the boxed solution of the joint project with NVision Group integrator "Safe city", the vice president for the innovative development told journalists Rostelecom Alexey Nashchekin.

Product and its components

According to him, the joint initiative is in work since July, 2012. "We are going to provide by the end of the year completely ready to replication shrink-wrapped software product in the cities", - Alexey Nashchekin told.

He specified that "box" budt to consist of neskoly modules, including Smart home, "The smart city" and others. "In few weeks at the Sochi economic forum 2012 we announce the project on security which will be included in the solution", - Alexey Nashchekin added an intrigue.

The company wants to reduce time for implementation to at least due to a large number of cloud omponent in a product.

Development plans

According to the vice president of Rostelecom now the company occupies the minimum share in the market of security systems for the cities. "In two years (2014, - an editor's note) we are going to dominate here, i.e. to have more than 50% of the market", - he said.

The complex of the solutions "Safe City" allows to control completely a situation in the field of security in regions: infrastructure of housing and public utilities and city objects, an ecological situation, existence of emergency situations, social stability and also quickly to react to emergencies. As a part of a complex of solutions – cloud services "O7. City", "O7.112" and "O7.housing and public utilities".

Statistics of road violations and control of collecting of penalties of traffic police – current problems for all regions. The solution "Safe City" is from a hardware and software system of Odysseys, a global video surveillance system and management systems for traffic Range. The solution successfully functions in Perm, Yekaterinburg, Kirov, Tyumen, Sukhumi, Khanty-Mansiysk and is intended for automatic photo and video fixing of the facts of traffic offense, control over observance of an order in public places, statistical analysis of quality of a paving and many other.
