2020: Start of service for recognition of pictures of a computer tomography of lungs

The Sberzdorovye service and cloud platform of SberCloud entering an ecosystem of Sberbank started on July 14, 2020 the joint project on recognition of pictures of a computer tomography of lungs. The project will pass within a month and will be available for all comers. The first wave of measurements is calculated per thousand users.

Using this project any person can upload the KT-picture to the site and receive its interpretation within 5–10 minutes. The result will come to mail and to the interface of the website after end of the analysis. A system uses the algorithms of artificial intelligence developed in Laboratory on artificial intelligence of Sberbank and works at computing powers of the Kristofari supercomputer of SberCloud company.

The service in general will help to learn whether is in change lungs, characteristic of pneumonia, including at COVID-19. For July, 2020 a system is able to show as a percentage an affected part of lungs, to define affected areas of lungs (opaque glass and consolidation) and to calculate their total amount. Marked by DICOM series of files it is possible to download and look in any program for viewing DICOM pictures. DICOM (Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine) is the medical industry standard of creation, storage, transfer and visualization of digital medical images and documents of the inspected patients.

Such analysis allows the user to estimate independently dynamics at repeated research KT to monitor development of a disease, without appearing the house, to receive the second opinion. To doctors service will help to decrypt pictures of patients. On the basis of results of the automatic analysis it is possible to implement prioritization of the work list of the radiologist and to categorize researches.
