Presenting a Solution to Test Students' Knowledge Online

On April 29, 2020, BARS Group (part of the National Center for Informatization of Rostec State Corporation) announced that, together with Skyeng and the Prosveshchenie group of companies, it had announced a joint effort in the digitalization segment of assessing the knowledge and skills of schoolchildren.

The structures launched work on the integration of the Electronic Diary module (Electronic School solutions from BARS Group) with the Skysmart Interactive Workbook service for school teachers. As of April 2020, more than 740 thousand schoolchildren from all over the country are already using the interactive workbook, in total more than two million tasks have been completed.

The main task of the Skysmart service is to help teachers save time on sending and checking homework. An interactive workbook automatically evaluates the completion of tasks, with the teacher immediately receiving results. All tasks are closely related to the textbooks of the publishing houses of the Enlightenment group and the program of the school year. For the period of distance learning, the service is freely available for regions until the end of the self-isolation regime.

The product integration of the interactive workbook with the "Electronic Diary" will allow you to select specific tasks from educational materials and send them to students as homework. Thus, the "Electronic Diary" expands its functionality for the teacher and significantly reduces the time for transferring data from different systems, automating the issuance and verification of tasks.

Our common important task is to make the learning process for teachers and schoolchildren as understandable as possible, to help them stay at the usual pace and work with the usual educational materials. Cooperation of such projects in this sense is the surest way to create a single infrastructure, a single place for teachers and students to work, "said Alexander Laryanovsky, executive director of Skyeng (Skysmart).
