Involvement of partners

As told the Kommersant newspaper in TVzavr company, service signed agreements on cooperation on MoviesChain with the French Celluloid Dreams, Gaumont, Memento Films, SND, TF1 and the Italian Parche. It is expected that studios will place all volume of the libraries, and it "thousands of names", speak in TVzavr. Content will be available to users only on paid model, the cost of one movie will be $1.5.

Partnership with studios will be under construction on the revenue share model, speak in TVzavr, and use of a blockchain will provide transparency of calculations. Investments into MoviesChain are going to be attracted including through ICO. The stage pre-ICO TVzavr is going  to carry out  in April, 2018. It will be possible to pay with tokens which will be released by service movies.

The chief content officer of TVzavr Elena Khlebnikova says that the blockchain platform helps independent producers to show the content to users worldwide, without resorting to the help of distributors. At the same time the audience will be able to look at earlier unavailable niche content.

However, such content is still not too demanded, market participants say. In ivi the share of watching an art house makes less than 1%, reported the edition in the company.

According to preliminary estimates Telecom Daily, in 2017 revenue of legal online video services in Russia could reach  11 billion rubles, the agency estimates TVzavr share at 2.3%.

Kommersant notes that the MoviesChain platform  is created based on the service TVzavr in which investments made $ 15 million earlier.^[1]

MoviesChain by TVzavr will work on paid model, the cost of watching one movie will be about $1.50. In April is going to begin sale of tokens for the amount equivalent to $30 million. Investors will be able to secure internal currency of service — a token of ZVR — in exchange for other cryptocurrency. Tokens of ZVR will be used as means of payment for purchase of movies on MoviesChain by TVzavr. In addition, holders of tokens of ZVR will have an opportunity to participate in specially developed bonus scheme.

Representatives of the company emphasized that use of a system does not demand technical knowledge neither from filmmakers, nor from the audience and investors.

2017: Plans for creation of the video platform

At the end of November, 2017 it became known that the TVZavr online movie theater intends to create the global MoviesChain video platform on the basis of blockchain technology. According to Vedomosti, start of the platform is planned for fall of 2018.

The idea of TVZavr consists in creation of a system of distribution of niche video content which, as a rule, does not get on such platforms as Netflix and Amazon. Application of a blockchain, as envisioned by online movie theater, will provide transparency of settlings with producers of video among which there can be independent and local studios.

For watching the movie about $1 will be levied, at the same time users will have exact information on what amount of funds is sent to the author, the owner and the platform.

According to the CEO of TVZavr Marina Surygina, on a project startup it is going to attract $30 million investments, for this purpose the company intends to carry out primary placement of cryptocurrency — tokens (ICO). The transaction is planned for February, 2018.^[2]
