As of May 2013, Azure Marketplace has over 600 cloud solutions and 170 data sources. Payment for services in the store is made by credit card.

Azure Marketplace in a number of foreign countries was launched at the end of 2010. At the Russian representative office of Microsoft, TAdviser specified that as of May 2013, in addition to Russia, this store is available in 87 more markets.

"We have done a lot of work to make Azure Marketplace available to Russian companies and allow them to pay for the cloud services and data they need using Russian bank cards," TAdviser said in a Russian representative office of Microsoft.

To place its applications in it, the developer must register in the store as a publisher and provide information about the service to the Azure Marketplace team. The service is published after it has been validated.
