The Vozrozhdeniye bank implemented technology of protection of payments against SafeTech

On July 18, 2019 the Vozrozhdeniye Bank announced the beginning of use of the solution PayControl. Clients of Bank – legal entities had an opportunity of convenient and safe confirmation of financial transactions on mobile devices when using the Internet bank system and mobile application "Vbank business".

As it was reported, for July, 2019 when the possibility of use of mobile devices became one of key requirements of remote customer service, before bank there was a problem of the choice of technologies for formation of the electronic signature of transactions and documents directly on the smartphone or the tablet. Formation of the signature, fast and simple for the user, using the mobile device, providing the set security level of transactions and also minimization of finance costs in comparison with the systems of the electronic signature used earlier became the main selection terms of the solution. According to the results of the analysis of the solutions for July, 2019 presented at the Russian market, a choice of Bank was made for benefit of the platform of the mobile authentication and the electronic signature PayControl developed by SafeTech company.

Thanks to the solution PayControl safe confirmation of banking activities using the mobile device at once in two systems – Internet Bank and in mobile application "Vbank Business" became possible. At the time of confirmation of transaction on the screen of the mobile device the client sees all details of payment: number, a transaction amount, date, the account of the receiver – also has an opportunity to check their correctness.

Use of the solution PayControl will allow clients of Vozrozhdeniye bank easily and to safely make financial transactions on the smartphone without use of additional devices (tokens or smart cards, password generators). Register payments without manual entry of details and confirmation codes, without delays and canceling of the transactions connected with waiting or nondelivery of Sms and Push-notifications, one movement of a hand on the smartphone screen.

Main advantage of PayControl in comparison with traditional methods of payment confirmation, in particular, the one-time password by the SMS, is that the confirmation code of transaction forms directly on the mobile device of the client. The code becomes attached to details of transaction, and its interception by swindlers will not lead to theft of funds from the account. The additional benefit consists that for confirmation of the made actions existence of Internet access from the smartphone is not required — the signature of transaction can form both in online, and in offline mode. Thus, PayControl promotes decrease in dependence on existence and quality of cellular communication at the time of performing transactions.

Thorough study of all complex of technology, organizational and legal issues became feature of an implementation project of the solution PayControl in remote services of Vozrozhdeniye bank.
