Completion of delivery of ballot paper processing systems for the Orenburg region

On August 15, 2019 the Avtomatika concern announced completion of delivery of ballot paper processing systems for election commission of the Orenburg region. To the region 293 complexes are delivered. Ballot paper processing systems will be used in the uniform voting day on September 8, 2019.

Ballot paper processing system - the device for the automated counting of votes, formation and printing of the final protocol. The software a ballot paper processing system is developed by Avtomatika Concern. In 2020 the Concern is going to begin production of ballot paper processing systems at own capacities.

The complex is equipped with the mechanism of automatic capture of bulletins, the reading-out line allowing to scan and recognize in real time bulletins. In construction the ballot paper processing system is used technology of optical scanning which ensures stable and reliable functioning of the device. The complex is equipped with software and the special camera recognizing holograms, it accepts and processes only bulletins of the set polling precinct, in the automatic mode returns the sheets which are not bulletins and also reads out the image in the ultra-violet range. The complex does not allow to cast at the same time several ballots.

The ballot paper processing system has data communication function by means of the machine-readable QR code. It makes acceptance of initial data (a descriptor of the bulletin, a protocol descriptor) and data transmission of the final protocol on the external electronic medium of information.

For August, 2019 there are deliveries of complexes on already signed agreements for election commissions of a number of regions among which there are Moscow, the Leningrad Region, the Sakhalin region, the Nenets Autonomous Okrug.

Victory in tender on delivery of 293 ballot paper processing systems

On April 25, 2019 the Avtomatika Concern announced a victory in tender on delivery of 293 ballot paper processing systems (BPPS) to election commission of the Orenburg region. Delivery is planned for July, 2019. Ballot paper processing systems will be used in the uniform voting day on September 8, 2019.

Contract amount was 72.9 million rubles. The protocol is posted on the website of the Unified information system in the field of purchases.
