In buses of Moscow monitoring systems of a passenger traffic and search of free riders will appear

On December 13, 2019 it became known that Mosgortrans will buy from Maxima Telecom companies (WiFi-seti operator in the subway of Moscow and St. Petersburg) and Itelm (the developer of automobile components, before began to deliver to Mosgortrans of a system of the help to drivers) solutions for control of passenger traffics and identification of free riders in buses.

Told Kommersant the source close to the parties of the transaction about this project, and the director of development of solutions for the passenger and electric transport of Itelma Pavel Starostin and the representative of Maxima Telecom Anastasia Samoylova confirmed.

It became known that Mosgortrans will buy from Maxima Telecom and Itelm companies of the solution for control of passenger traffics and identification of free riders in buses

According to the edition, the cost of the contract will be about 2.5 billion rubles. How many each of suppliers will earn, it is unknown.

Monitoring systems using Internet of Things will be installed by new buses which Mosgortrans ordered in June, 2019. The NefAZ and LiAZ are about high-capacity low-floor machines. 342 NefAZ buses for 4.4 billion rubles purchased "KamAZ", the Tekhinkom-Express company has 148 buses LiAZ for 2.5 billion rubles.

Each bus will be equipped with the equipment for the automated monitoring of the passenger traffics, including sensors of calculation and recognition which are entering and the leaving people. Besides, cameras in buses will receive function of validation of travel documents.

One of sources of Kommersant in the market says that "digital buses" and private carriers in Moscow will have to order. Everything, according to interlocutors, in the capital there will be about 1.5 thousand buses with smart sensors.

The main objective of implementation of similar technologies — to simplify and accelerate pass of passengers and also to make the thermal map of the city for optimization of a passenger traffic of each route — the commercial director of VisionLabs Ilya Romanov considers.[1]
