2019: Equipment of an educational class in Vologda Kvantorium

On September 20, 2019 Avtomatika concern Rostec reported to State corporation that together with child dependent societies INEUM named after I. Brook and NCI Kvantoriuma in Vologda computers microprocessor Elbrus-8C" within opening provided the educational class on 30 jobs equipped personal based on domestic for test operation LLC. In INEUM named after I. Brook developed version of the personal computer for reduction in cost of equipment of classes of domestic ADP equipment – Elbrus 801K. One such personal computer ensures simultaneous operation from 2 to 6 pupils.

Kvantorium Vologda

The organization of equipment of Kvantorium was undertaken by NCI LLC.

On August 26, 2019 opening of organization of additional education Kvantorium in Vologda took place. At opening there was a governor of the Vologda region Oleg Kuvshinnikov and the deputy minister of education of the Russian Federation Marina Rakova.

In total 13 computers (from them 12 on 2 jobs and one PC on six jobs) – a class on 30 children were shown.

the Elbrus Microprocessor with the Russian architecture provides with computing power several jobs at the same time, this solution is suitable for equipment of organizations of education, for September, 2019 testing of the equipment is conducted. Besides, with the Ministry of Public Education of the Russian Federation there is already a study of a question on further scaling of the project. We see perspectives in use Elbrusov when training future software developers: programmers, system administrators. The possibility of equipment by the demonstration equipment of the project IT cube ó Vologda is considered (the modern platform for training and creativity of children and teenagers in the field of information technologies),

The Elbrus 801K PC gives opportunities not only for work, but also for training. The computer allows to work with vector and bitmap graphics, with editors of video files and also to provide training in coding environments C ++ and Python. Implementation in organizations of formation of the different programs using open source codes is studied.

The main distinctive features of the Elbrus 801K PC are use of the microprocessor with domestic architecture Elbrus and also a possibility of independent parallel operation of several people on one system unit (up to 6 parallel sessions).
