PROMT took part in the project of the Ministry of Defence "The road of memory"

"The road of memory" - the project implemented by the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation within the list of instructions approved by the Russian President on improvement of the measures directed to perpetuation of memory of the dead at protection of the Fatherland. "The road of memory" is a public database about each participant of the Great Patriotic War.

2020: Integration of PROMT Neural Translation Server into a DB "Road of memory"

Neural network machine translation technologies of PROMT integrated into the Road of Memory database - the system developed by the Ministry of Defence and storing tens of millions of records about participants of the Great Patriotic War. As a result of the joint project information on each participant can be studied not only in Russian, but also in other languages. The PROMT company reported about it on July 2, 2020.

The joint project was implemented based on the client-server solution of the company – PROMT Neural Translation Server. In its basis – neural network technologies which provide transfer of very high quality. Now foreign visitors of the Patriot park where booths with access to base are located will be able to study information on participants of the Great Patriotic War, – in the English, Chinese, German, Spanish and French languages. To translate the summary on the selected search result, it is enough to click "Translate" and select target language.

"The road of memory" - the important project for our society, and I am sure that it will help not only to save the memory of participants of the Great Patriotic War, but also to distribute information on their feat. And thanks to linguistic technologies on the basis of neural networks, limits of this project considerably will extend!

It is especially pleasant that the Russian developers of translation systems – using the technologies created in Russia took part in implementation of "The road of memory", our project received the international scope.
