2019: Development of digital model of industrial complex

On February 18, 2019 the CROC company reported that it developed digital model of industrial complex of the SIBUR - ZapSibNeftekhim. The project is aimed at personnel training quality improvement, growth of efficiency of industrial security and optimization of operation of the equipment. Development on the basis of immersive technologies will become a basis for further development of initiatives of the petrochemical company of management of lifecycle of the enterprises and digitization of production.

According to the company, the digital model represents visualization of the industrial complex under construction located in the Tobolsk petrochemical cluster of the SIBUR. In it in accuracy production processes, constructions and infrastructure, including installation of pyrolysis, capacities for production of different grades of polyethylene and polypropylene are recreated.

Digital transformation in the SIBUR began a year ago, during this time we implemented more than ten projects which part relies on VR technologies. Transition to the Industry 4.0 requires instruments of visualization for complex representation and management of production assets. And a digital 3D model - the first step to digital doubles and creation of a basis for end-to-end enterprise management throughout all production cycle. At an initial stage the digital model will be used by specialists of the corporate university during training of new employees, to solve problems of visualization of production capacities and processes, to be applied in the field of labor protection and industrial security. As the tool the digital model will help to develop plans of evacuation for a comprehensive view of the enterprise or can be used in use industrial assets for optimization of production chains.

Further the hardware and software system will be used for broader spectrum of problems of digital transformation of ZapSibNeftekhim. Consolidation of such model with data of production management systems (Manufacturing Execution System, MES) and resource managements (Enterprise Resource Planning, ERP), an APCS video analytics and IIoT will allow to obtain the most complete information about a status of production assets and to monitor interaction of different processes and devices. For example, with its help will perhaps monitor operation of wearable devices and to control production personnel.

At a stage of start of the project during Customer Development and consulting the project team of CROC carried out identification of the basic operational needs of personnel and difficulties which employees at approbation of interactive technologies face. For example, the ability to integrate mathematical models and situational modeling was called one of important. On the basis of data retrieveds experts of CROC formulated recommendations for use of digital models at the enterprises of the SIBUR during the subsequent implementation the practician of digital production.

In a work progress over the complex project we received and visualized hundreds of objects. In the future such model can become the advanced interface in practice of digital production, having integrated different data and tools of the Industry 4.0. 2017

On October 12, 2017 the CROC company announced the project of the organization multimedia and VIDEOCONFERENCING infrastructures on the platform of ZapSibNeftekhim by request of SIBUR holding.

Project Tasks

Control facilities over the course of construction of ZapSibNeftekhim were required for the SIBUR. With start of an industrial facility, the SIBUR needed audiovisual infrastructure for the organization of managing directors and the operational business processes connected with construction.

Project Progress

On the observation deck of ZapSibNeftekhim of CROC created two multimedia platforms. They are equipped with videowalls and the VKS system by means of which corporate communications in a protect mode will be organized.

Project Results

The leaders of the Moscow corporate center of the SIBUR and complex ZapSibNeftekhim in Tobolsk had an opportunity jointly online to watch broadcasting from objects under construction, to resolve the arising questions, to control implementation and an adherence to deadlines of each stage of the project.

The first platform — a conference room — provides holding meetings with a large number of participants for signing of the contracts on supply of building materials, agreement signature about creation of productions, demonstration of start-up of industrial equipment, etc. The size of the videowall installed on the platform, 50 sq.m.

It consists of 36 modules monitors and is equipped with an intelligent system of management.

The second platform — the head's office — helps the management of ZapSibNeftekhim to hold meetings with working project teams for control of the status of accomplishment of construction works. The videowall of 5 sq.m. in size, helps to obtain visual data for decision making. Content management happens to the help of the touch monitor.
