Mindray will deliver 10 thousand medical devices to Italy for the help to sick COVID-19

2020: Delivery of the first batch of the equipment in 15 days

On April 6, 2020 Zdrav.Expert became known that Mindray, the supplier of medical devices and solutions, received from the government of Italy the delivery contract about 10,000 medical devices for monitoring and treatment of patients with COVID-19. The first batch of the medical equipment, including 5000 monitors of the patient and 400 ventilators, arrived in Italy on March 28, 2020. In two days all devices were installed in the main hospitals which work at a limit to save seriously ill. The company needed only 15 days between obtaining the order, delivery and installation of the first processing devices of a batch.

The company also accelerates production and delivery of the medical equipment, including the second batch of "fans" which will be delivered ​​ in the next weeks, within the support directed to decrease in strength in the local health care system caused by a pandemic.

To meet this huge demand, we coordinated the actions with resources of head office and local distribution networks to accelerate all process, guaranteeing that all equipment which urgently need, can be delivered in 15 days. In process of development of the Mindray virus organized a series of webinars with the leading practicing doctors from China, Italy, Spain and many other countries for discussion of clinical knowledge in the field of prevention of infections and treatment of patients. Mindray also offered devices for maintenance of life in the most affected regions of Northern Italy.
