Rosreestr will receive new data centers for 5 billion rubles

In February, 2019 it became known of expansion of computing powers for the Uniform State Real Estate Register (USRER) which is kept by Federal Service for State Registration, Cartography and Cadastre (Rosreestr). Instead of one data center EGRN will function based on three platforms. Rostelecom can become the contractor of the project for 4.7 billion rubles.

Expansion of infrastructure at a meeting offered on February 7, 2019 the Ministry of Economic Development, approved the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Telecom and Mass Communications and the Deputy Prime Minister Maxim Akimov approved. About it Vedomosti was told by the federal official and other source familiar with meeting minutes. Maxim Akimov's representative confirmed to the edition holding such meeting and reported that on it the basic decision to create reserve capacities for ensuring smooth operation of EGRN was made.

Rosreestr will receive new data centers for 5 billion rubles

By February, 2019 Rosreestr uses the capacities of DPC rented at Rostelecom for work of the systems. In August, 2018 in data center of Rostelecom there was an accident because of which there was a large failure in IT systems of Rosreestr. It was succeeded to resume normal work only in two weeks.

According to Vedomosti, Rostelecom is ready to provide to Rosreestr new capacities, and department is going to begin transition to additional infrastructure in 2019.

Money for new data centers of Rosreestr will be taken from the national program "Digital Economy". For this project it is going to select 410.5 million rubles in 2019 and 1.2 billion rubles in the 2020th. Then infrastructure of EGRN will be paid by the state program for economic development — Maxim Akimov charged to provide on it 1.2 billion rubles in 2021, and then annually 1.9 billion rubles, the newspaper specifies.[1]
