2019: Agreement of BBVA and NetApp on creation of alliance

The BBVA bank and Netapp company announced on June 6, 2019 creation of alliance within which NetApp becomes the priority technology partner of BBVA. Alliance of the companies — one of a number of strategic agreements using which the banking group is going to turn into more flexible digital bank.

The portfolio of Netapp services for work with data is designed to play a key role strategy implementations of bank on acceleration of digital transformation, having allowed to provide the growing requirements of the organization for simplification and integration of data management for a cloud and local storages. As expected, the signed agreement will help to organize BBVA the approved and integrated functioning of services for work with data in a hybrid cloud for ensuring visibility and data analysis, access and management of them and also their protection for satisfaction of high demand on digital company services.

The signed agreement will become for BBVA one more step on the way of strengthening networks of alliances with priority technology partners, including such companies as Cisco, Red Hat, Salesforce, Amazon Web Services and IBM created in 2016.
