Rusagro was started by new data center for cost reduction

On August 13, 2020 it became known of start of new data center of Rusagro. This project for the Russian agricultural and food company was implemented by Jet Infosystems.

The integrator designed and implemented the protected container DPC  which integrated 12 platforms (including 3 plants) in Primorye. Affirms that thanks to a new multi-purpose IT complex the plant will be able to reduce operating costs and by that to provide to the end consumer better products.

The new data processing center of 50 square meters (containing 11 server and network racks) was equipped with the systems of regular power supply and conditioning according to the scheme of reservation "N+1" and provided optimal climatic conditions indoors with a temperature of 18-24 °C and humidity of 30-50%. All engineering and computing systems are scaled and executed with the maximum level of fault tolerance for prevention of possible failures, says Jet Infosystems company.

Control and management systems for access, security video surveillance, gas fire extinguishing, the automated monitoring and SCS (structured cabling systems) were a part of engineering infrastructure of the constructed KTsOD. The IT complex is, allegedly, expected 24/7 year-round work.

The container data center is relevant when there is a number of restrictions on the area, or on the contrary the company has a big geography of activity. In this case moving of a complex to any point in connection with changing tasks is possible. After upgrade at the disposal of Rusagro Primorye the advanced data center optimal taking into account growth of volumes of the processed information and capable to scaling in connection with continuous development of the company. appeared — the head of DPC and engineering infrastructure Jet Infosystems Vsevolod Vorobyov said.[1]
