Pulsar Venture Capital has opened a representative office in Ireland

November 15 in Dublin, the opening of the representative office of the Russian venture fund Pulsar Venture Capital.

The main task of the representative office is to bring companies from Russia to the global market, as well as to help Pulsar Venture Capital portfolio companies localize business in Ireland and organize partnerships with participants in the innovative ecosystem and market partnerships. In addition, given the high level of innovation and technology in Ireland, the representative office will work on the transfer of technologies to both sides in the format of technological brokerage and scouting, especially in the field of agrobiotechnology, new materials and electronics.

Pulsar Venture Capital also plans to conduct acceleration programs with partners in the region. In 2016, a pilot accelerator was held together with funds from Ireland. 6 companies from Russia received investments and were trained in innovation centers in Dublin, Moscow, Kazan and Innopolis.

The representative office in Dublin is open on the basis of the Guinness Enterprise Center, an inter-country business support center, as signed by the parties. Pulsar entered the pool of investment partners of the center. Other investment partners include GEC, the European Association of Business Angels (EBAN), the Association of Venture Funds of Ireland (IVCA), Enterprise Ireland development agency and other venture funds and institutional investors.

Almaz Capital becomes strategic partner of international accelerator Pulsar Venture Capital

Venture fund Pulsar Venture Capital in March 2016 announced the launch of an international acceleration program to support Russian innovative companies. The strategic partner of the program will be Almaz Capital. Almaz experts will be involved in working with companies from the IT industry, becoming mentors for some accelerator teams. In addition, representatives of Almaz Capital will be included in the selection committee of the project.

According to the fund, the participating companies will receive investments of up to 8 million rubles from the organizers and the opportunity to attract up to €1 million euros from the accelerator's global partners. 15 selected teams will receive individual mentors, will pass the accelerator program in Kazan, Moscow, Dublin (Ireland) and Silicon Valley (USA ).
