Vzlet, Ltd (1C Logistics: Management of a warehouse)

Implementation of the software product "1C Logistics: Management of warehouse 8" in large production company Vzlet Ltd

The main office Vzlet Ltd is located in St. Petersburg. He performs operations of internal logistics and controls movement of goods between the warehouses located in regional representative offices across all Russia. Regional representative offices and the central office are in the different cities and have no single consolidated system of an inventory control. The requirement is qualitative to organize joint work of warehouses, to keep lot-based series-based accounting taking into account options and characteristics, to manage goods flows, led to the decision on business process automation of supplies of equipment.

Accounting and operational trade accounting in Vzlet Ltd is kept on the basis of software products "by 1C: Trade management 8" and "1C: Accounting 8", implemented by specialists "Dialog Information Technologies" in 2006. Former experience of successful cooperation became key for Vzlet Ltd in the choice of the leading contractor - Dialog IT company. Specialists of Dialog IT company offered a product "to 1C Logistics: Management of warehouse 8".

The main goal of this project - to create a single information warehouse system with access in real time in all regional representative offices and supply division of the equipment in St. Petersburg.

In January, 2008 the Dialog IT Ltd company completed a system implementation project "1C Logistics: Management of warehouse 8" in Vzlet Ltd.

The project started in May, 2007 and was separated into the next stages:

Inspection of a warehouse complex with the subsequent creation and formalization of optimal warehouse business processes Business process modeling in a warehouse information system Implementation of bilateral data exchange with a corporate system of Vzlet company based on 1C: Trade Management. During the project the following warehouse transactions were automated:

goods acceptance, shipment, selection, internal transfer of products. In December, 2007 start of a system in trial operation took place and at the beginning of 2008 a system was transferred to commercial operation.
