Rossib Ltd Pharmatsiyazao Rossib of Pharmacy (group of "GROWTH") is a large national distributor of pharmaceutical medicines. Now Rossib of Pharmacy offers products of 639 suppliers from 44 countries of the world. The number of buyers of the company exceeds 9000 and every year grows. Order taking from clients is performed at the Novosibirsk and Moscow offices of the company and also at offices of each of 23 branches and 16 regional representative offices.

The warehouse complex in Podolsk, MO, represents the separate building. In a warehouse there are 3 subbands of storage with different temperature conditions: from +15 to +22 °C, from +12 to +15 °C and from +2 to +8 °C. The zone of long storage is equipped with high-rise 6-level racks. The zone of a piece complete set is equipped with the pipeline. In this zone for the most part of goods gravitational racks, and for redkoukhodimy goods and in the refrigerator — shelf racks are used. The zone of an expedition is separated into two subbands depending on an order type: for wholesale orders and for retail. Shipment is made in shipping docks at once. In a warehouse there is a zone of narcotic and strong medicines which includes subbands of acceptance, long storage, an expedition and shipment. Thus, all turnover cycle of relevant goods is closed in this zone. The pharmaceutical its huge range warehouse requires special attention to observance of storage conditions of products.

The main requirements to conducting warehouse activity in a pharmaceutical warehouse are: observance of conditions and storage lives, support of work with certificates, quality control and sampling at acceptance, weight control, serial accounting, control of storage conditions (temperature condition, humidity, expiration dates, implementation terms, etc.), the high accuracy and speed of assembly of orders, additional control of certain groups of goods (strong and narcotic medicines) and many other things.

The management of pharmaceutical company "Rossib Pharmacy" set the task of complex automation of a warehouse on the basis of system implementation of management of all technology transactions, including personnel and the warehouse equipment. At the same time the possibility of a complete set of a large number of retail orders with a high accuracy was the main objective facing a system.

As a result of system implementation of management it was going to solve the following problems also:

increase performance of work of personnel and provide growth of capacity of a warehouse by 30–50%; increase the speed of selection of orders due to introduction of addressing of storage locations and formation of tasks taking into account cost minimization of time for their accomplishment; reduce costs of time for manual entry of data and editing documents; increase the speed of shipment of orders due to cost reduction of time for control and recalculation of orders at shipments; motivate personnel to performance improvement of the work on the basis of detailed accounting of individually performed works; have a possibility of tariffing of works on safe custody and processing of loads when rendering logistics services to third parties; provide exact maintenances of a goods turnover with the documents confirming goods quality (certificates, qualitative certificates, veterinary references and certificates).

The management system of Solvo.WMS is intended for complex automation warehouse technology and business processes which are connected with processing of goods on a warehouse complex from the moment of obtaining information on a planned receipt of goods from suppliers until shipment of goods to clients. Information on a set of documents, the following with a batch, and a set of the certificates necessary for it is transferred to the Solvo.WMS system. The different strategy of processing of situations with a lack of documents or certificates can be applied to different goods and suppliers. These strategy can be set by the trading system of the company at a prisylka of the notification on arrival of goods (in this case messages about the expected receipt contain information on an algorithm of processing of this situation).
