Bioenergy industry, group (Solvo.WMS)

Project Tasks Storage of products was performed on not big warehouses. For the purpose of optimization business - processes of the company, ensuring permanent availability of medicines in retail trade, improvement of quality of deliveries was constructed a new office and warehouse complex in the city of Dolgoprudny of the Moscow region.

The warehouse, in connection with design features of the building, is equipped with narrow-passage storage system, racks for pallet (12000 places) and boxed (15,000 places) storages. The premises meet all requirements for providing the temperature and moist modes necessary at the organization of storage of pharmaceutical products.

Implementation Progress

For management of a warehouse of Biotek company the Solvo.WMS system was selected. At the end of 2007 between SOLVO and Biotek companies the agreement was signed, and on June 27, 2008 a system was put in operation. The SOLVO system provides the organization of piece selection, necessary for the enterprises of pharmaceutics, replenishment of a zone of a complete set, serial accounting, accounting of compatibility of goods with different storage conditions. In this project the gateway between Solvo.WMS and the pipeline "Moving" is implemented. Besides, the Solvo.WMS system is equipped with new additional functionality – Yard management which manages docks of a warehouse and vehicles. Biotek – one of the first clients of "SOLVO" to whom this functionality allowing to trace and fix arrival and leaving of transport, to appoint dock, to trace time of loading and unloading was provided. The module of management of the yard in a system is especially important for third-party shipping companies as it allows to reduce a downtime of the equipment.

Result

Office spaces with different services of the company are in one building with a warehouse that allows to process quickly necessary documents and to certify medicines. According to leading specialists of Biotek company of the solution "SOLVO" will accurately organize work of a big warehouse, allow to optimize deliveries that can guarantee permanent availability of medicines of the company in broad access.
