St. Petersburg subway, state unitary enterprise (SAP Business Warehouse (SAP BW))

Before implementation SUE "Petersburg Metro" had requirements:

• in obtaining information on work of divisions in different cuts;
• in the analysis and control of business activities of the subway;
• in creation of the general information space for all heads;
• in effective management and control of business activities of the subway using an information and analytical system.

The management of SUE "Petersburg Metro" needed the following functions:

• information support of status meetings;
• preparation of the reporting;
• control of indicators of awarding of heads;
• operational providing information for acceptance of management decisions;
• reliability assurance and completeness of data;
• consolidation of data from different information blocks.

The complex of integration included the SAP solutions BusinessObjects, SAP BW, SAP DataIntegrator. From the selected complex of solutions visualization of information representation and idle time in use the interface was required. Informatsionnye tekhnologii i consulting LLC acted as the contractor of the project. An implementation time — from April to September, 2010.

Based on implementation were implemented:

• information support of status meetings;
• preparation of the reporting;
• control of indicators of awarding of heads;
• operational providing information for acceptance of management decisions;
• reliability assurance and completeness of data;
• consolidation of data from different information systems;
• reduction of labor input of reporting.

Besides, the cash flow plan, the plan of income and expenses was created, control over development process of technology instructions and control of use of technology instructions (TORO) is provided and also time for providing tax, management and financial statements is reduced by 20% and the efficiency of acceptance of management decisions is increased by 25%.

It is in the future going to expand the project, namely - to increase number of the traced indicators, to connect new business processes, to increase number of users.
